This is a cracker of a Cornwall location – Treamble Valley Caravan and Motorhome Club Site sits in that sweet spot between Newquay and Perranporth, in a valley not far from the coast. The 36-acre woodland park is as popular with wildlife as it is with guests (look out for rabbits, bats, owls and buzzards while you’re here) – and it’s also got sea views that are particularly spectacular at sunset. Managed by the Caravan and Motorhome Club, this site is open to non-members as well as members, with discounted rates for members. The price displayed is the member rate; non-members will need to pay the £15/night extra or buy a £69 membership. Membership is certainly worth considering if you're likely to spend more than four nights at a Club site over the coming year – it brings discounts at more than 140 UK sites, plus other perks including access to tailored caravan/motorhome insurance, discounts on days out and savings on top brands. This is a large site, but it’s been nicely divided up to create several smaller pitching areas for a more personal and cosy feeling. Facilities are in good supply, covering a launderette, an information room, a chemical disposal point and a wifi service along with well-maintained bathrooms that include accessible facilities. Kids and dogs are very welcome at this park – there’s a large play area for the former and a dog walk area for the latter. There are plenty more options around for longer walks too, and Perranporth beach is dog-friendly all year round.

Wegbeschreibung

Please do not use satnav; instead please follow the instructions provided. Turn right off A30 (Bodmin-Redruth), 1.7 miles past the roundabout by Carland Cross Wind Farm onto B3285 (signposted Perranporth). Within 0.75 miles turn right (signposted Newquay) into Scotland Rd. Within 1.75 miles at T junction turn right onto A3075 (Newquay). In 0.5 miles turn left (signposted Rejerrah) and continue for approximately 0.75 mile, bearing left uphill. Turn right onto site road (100 yards after sharp right bend). Beware of traffic from the left. Make sure you're turning into the campsite, not the CL. Site entrance is 450 metres along, straight ahead. Note: When arriving at peak times before noon, please leave your unit on the large grass arrival area at top of the site prior to booking in at reception. Please do not use any other final approach to the site.
