Trevornick Holiday Park

Positiv We enjoyed many aspects of our stay at Trevornick. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The facilities were plentiful, clean, and well looked after.
We also appreciated how dog-friendly the site is – the walking fields, dog bathing area, and the fact that dogs were welcome in the pub and arcade were all great touches. Our children loved the onsite entertainment, and the food was very good and averagely priced . The map was also clear and easy to follow.

Negativ The only difficulty we had was being pitched on one of the highest points of the site. The wind there was extremely strong and, despite securing our tent well, it was almost damaged. This did impact our overall enjoyment. I would recommend that tents are not placed on the very exposed pitches at the top of Hay Field (our pitches were 626, 634) as these seem particularly vulnerable in windy conditions.
Perhaps the park could consider advising guests in advance about the exposed nature of these pitches so they can make an informed choice.

Positiv The staff were really friendly and were very helpful. The showers and toilets really clean. The fish and chips were delicious. Woodys bar fabulous.

Negativ The field we were on was to far from the shower block and amenities (sun field) it didn’t suit as as we are older and not very good on our feet. In hindsight I am sure if I had asked at reception they would have moved us. Also beach was longer away than we thought.

Positiv Lots to like about this park, the splash zone was a hit with my toddler and the baby pool very warm. A couple of nice play grounds, amazing walk to the beach over the dunes, nice flat pitches and yummy fish and chips shop.

Negativ Lack of signage around the park made finding things more difficult than it needed to be. Lack of safe places to walk on the site roads for pedestrians, away from cars and bikes

The walk over the dunes is one of our favourite features too, and it’s great to know you enjoyed the playgrounds, flat pitches, and of course, the fish and chips! 😄

Positiv The pitch was big and in a good location, close to many facilities. The swimming pool was a good fun for our family. All facilities, including swimming pool were very clean. Take away and food trucks that were located on the site had a very tasty food and coffee. The farm shop located on the site was very handy. There is a nice beach nearby, just less than 30 mins walk.

Negativ Open fire, even in the firepits are not allowed.

Positiv We like the whole organisation of the place. It is nice to have different activities, food stalls, and even some basic shopping available locally. The location is great, and the space is well used.

Negativ The place is really big, and as such, there are a lot of people staying there. While each pitch has its own generous space and the facilities are not overwhelmed, the site is clearly big, and you will notice this by walking around.
