Positiv Quite place, right by a 200 acre common so good for walking the dog or family walks.
Lovely cafe on site and nice staff.
Toilets nice.
Didn't try the showers but they looked clean .

Negativ Staff dogs there without leads on(campers dogs need to have leads on, which is good) when one tried to go for mine made me feel like I couldn't leave my tent on the first day. Luckily it wasn't there the next day. Otherwise I would have cut my trip short and gone home.

Positiv The staff at Hurtwood were excellent, enthusiastic and helpful. The facilities were clean, modern, and there was plenty of hot water. I've been a regular visitor here for years and its recent transformation has really enhanced the setting for campers while retaining a sense of peace and connection with nature.
