Dieser Campingplatz im New Forest bietet geräumige Stellplätze, oft mit Waldrand und freier Aussicht. Gäste loben freundliches Personal, saubere Sanitäranlagen und frei herumlaufende Ponys/Kühe. Positiv The site looked great, but we got turned around
Negativ We came in a tesla ( which has camp mode for good air circulation etc..) and got turned away upon arrival at 8pm because we didnt have a tent, and were not allowed to sleep in our tesla (we have a full set up to have the back seats down and a comfy mattress so didnt need a tent). They argued the car was not made to sleep in but to drive in, and that we couldnt stand up in the car etc.. which is in the terms and conditions... It is our fault for not reading the fine detail of the terms and conditions, but to us we were a camp vehicle ( as it has a camp mode set up by Tesla themselves....
It is a very silly rule, as there is no danger to others to ourselves ( no exaust fumes etc..) so we lost the full cost and had to find an emmergency place to sleep ( which we only found open was airbNb -> this cost us £400 for an emmergency place to sleep). We were fuming.
Do not assume, if it is a tesla that they will let you in..They mean it when they say NO CAR CAMPING

Positiv Lots of space to pitch. Good facilities kept clean, powerful showers (push button, bit annoying) plenty of hot water. Small shop for essentials.
Negativ Our own fault but we pitched right next to the railway line, maybe the other side of the park would have been a bit quieter. Other than that nothing to dislike.

Positiv Great location,in the new forest,with bus and train 10 walk from site,walks straight into the forest,
Toilets block old but clean on arrival.
Negativ A group of over 50 people arrived and take over the toilet and shower/ washing up block, leaving it dirty and with wet clothes everywhere it was very hard to use at any time.no staff informed or supervising
Bins were moved meaning they left there rubbish about.
Road / train noise all the time

Positiv Facilities..got a coffee from the signing in desk...and some Haribos. Clean toilets as always. Wild life galore...Local Chinese take away was delicious. Just love the place
Negativ A little confusing where you can pitch up..but then I didn't listen properly to the receptionists both nice ladies

Positiv Open camping space and wooded areas to choose from. Easy, relaxed feel and facilities clean and maintained. Wonderful to be able to just walk straight into the forest.
Negativ Rather austere greeting and campsite briefing listing all the things that aren’t allowed. Perfectly sensible list explained in a such a dower tone that I wondered where I had come.
