Positiv It's a fabulous campsite. Small and friendly. The field is flat and sheltered. Very quiet and the host is amazing. It's really peaceful and the lady who runs it is very helpful and has lots of information about local places. The facilities are clean and kept in a nice condition.

Positiv What a lovely little site. The owners are very friendly. It has 9 pitches which can be electrical hookup. The price for hookup is very reasonable compared to other sites.
When pitching, make sure you have some rock pegs as the ground can be a bit stony in places.

It is a dog friendly site.

The facilities are also great. There are two toilets and showers next to the camping field. These are on the smaller size but there is also a larger toilet and showers next in the washroom/ kitchen area.
The showers are lovely and warm. They are also continuous so no pressing buttons every ten seconds. There is an honesty box for the showers (£1 suggested donation however we gave more as I couldn’t get my son out of them :))


The kitchen has a washing up area, fridge freezer, microwave and kettle. There is also a little library.

There is also an option to preorder breakfast barms or purchase craft beers.

We are definitely booking again for next year.

We had a lovely peaceful week.

Positiv Second visit to this site and like the first it was spot on. It is a tidy and well run site and the owner is there to welcome you with a beer.

Positiv Liked/loved everything! Cannot wait to return. Gina was brilliant; there if you needed anything. Always plenty of loo rolls. Showers and toilet clean.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to read that you were not very happy with some elements of your stay and therefore do not think that our site gives good value for money (we are priced to match all the other camp sites in the area).
The site is a small, quiet, out of the way site (as clearly described) and caters for people who do not really want the facilities and activities of a bigger site. Having said that, I know that you and your lovely dog were very happy with being able to access our beautiful beach after only a short walk from the campsite.
In terms of paying extra for showers, I would challenge you to find a site anywhere where they are free of charge - especially when they are not metered in any way and there is always an abundance of hot water.
I’m sorry to see that you would not recommend us to other people to come and stay - I only hope my comments in response to your review will counteract this.

Positiv Everything. The site is nice and compact. The toilets and shower were clean. The washing up area was well set up and the owner was there to meet me on arival with a couple of beers, whats not to like. Will go again

Positiv Everything, site small but pitches big enough. Nice walk into Withernsea but no pavement so not good for kids or buggies coast path almost washed away.

Negativ Only down side i could come up with would be not much room if on larger side in toilet shower room, but they are very clean.
