Negativ Left after 1 night if two.Fishing pond overgrown and not accessible and advertised as a lakes Despite emailing before we set off for a Fishing weekend to ensure we could fish it wasn't possible
WiFi wouldn't connect and mobile network poor so no TV connection for use.
Checked in Friday and left at lunchtime Saturday cutting the trip short
Fishing on a lake should not be advertised

It was myself that answered you enquiry and whilst I knew the pond was open and that clearing work had been cancelled due to very hot weather, what I hadn't realised was how overgrown it has become. So thank you for your feedback, we have started work at the pond today and sincere apologies that you weren't able to fish during your stay.
You also make a very fair point about our terminology and we have now changed our description to 'fishing pond'.
We do mention across platforms and in subsequent booking communications that wi-fi and phone signal cannot be guaranteed and that we provide TV aerial points but that you'd need a long length of coax to connect (most guests receive 90+ channels) Unfortunately, with phone signal this is very much dependant on your phone service provider as some get better signal than others.

Positiv Everything is so clean and tidy! It's peaceful and everyone is so friendly. We will be back for more! Best campsite we have stayed on. Highly recommend

Positiv Lovely facilities - great showers! Lots of options for fresh water, and the site itself was nice and quiet. Very well kept.

Positiv Very clean and tidy campsite. Same for shower block and dishwashing facilities.

Pitches for solo tents are on a small slope, but nothing untoward if you're in a 2 or 3 person backpacking style tent.

The site management team are very friendly and helpful

The site is in a great location to visit Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head to see the seabird colonies.

Positiv The site was clean and quiet which was perfect for us. The amenities were clean and well maintained. Loved the telephone box converted into an information hub, well stocked with information for the area.

Very quite site not recommended if you like to listen to music or have to talk loud
Holiday ended early due to above reasons.

Vom Platzbetreiber: Obviously, we're very disappointed with your review and rating. However, it was expected as we had to come and speak with you after receiving feedback from other guests about your loud music, bad language and arguments from 8pm to past midnight.
In our communications and information across all platforms it states that we're a quiet site. This is one of the main reasons that guests choose to stay with us.
Additionally, booking a site that states it's in the countryside will more than likely mean there'll be insects, many of which may sting or bite (which is a little beyond our control)
We'd urge anyone looking to book a site take the time to read the site description, policies, terms and conditions before accepting them at the point of booking. This will help avoid booking a site that for whatever reasons, does not meet your requirements.

Positiv Very spacious pitch and amenities were really clean. Friendly and sociable site. Owners were very pleasant.

Positiv This is one of the best camp sites we have stayed at in terms of staff helpfulness, organisation in terms of identifying pitch upon arrival, communication.

The toilet blocks are clean, spacious and have great facilities.

The location is glorious.

We have already visited twice in six weeks :)
