Positiv Large drive on drive off pitches.

Negativ Toilet and shower blocks were dirty. No toilet paper or hand towels for 48hours in either the gents or ladies , which shows how often they’re cleaned. No wifi. Road is noisy.

Vom Platzbetreiber: I sorry Wi-Fi was down try get fix and over the storm ⛈️ I sorry her that toilet wasn’t cleant my cleaner cleans um in day and in the evening 2 times a day I sorry u most coming into um while there wore get ready get clean maybe that was the wore unclean no toilet paper 🧻

Positiv Good size level pitches, spacious. Although only one toilet and one shower, were clean

Negativ Road noise, no information on site of local attractions.
Nobody to welcome visitors

Positiv Liked the location and the option to choose your own pitch. The pitch sizes are generous and flat. The toilet block was clean although the shower curtain and rail needed changing as they were rusty and mouldy. Nice hot shower.

Negativ The disabled toilet was locked for most of the time.
No lights on site, apparently broken the week before we arrived. Had to use a torch if using the toilet block once dark.
No wifi at all which we were told had been cut off since new management took over.

Positiv I liked that it was a small site and was adult only.

Negativ The warden liked to play loud music for all to hear and had a daughter who clearly wasn’t an adult.

Positiv Easy access to Halesworth town.
Bus routes to Southwold and Norwich.

Negativ Only one toilet cubicle in the Gents and no urinals.
Only one shower in the Gents

Positiv The original Manager ( Neal) was very welcoming, friendly.

Negativ When we chose this site it was because it was quite central to the places we wanted to visit, and had read that the noise from the road was very quite.
The road next to the site was extremely loud and also there was some kind of machinery which was running either first thing in the morning or last thing at night, so there was a very noisy droining noise.
Also the field next to us had the combineharvester going , so we had to close all our windows and close our awning as the dust completely covered us.
Also on our arrival after meeting the manager Neal who was very nice, we were approached by another man telling us that he was the new manager.
Who then went on to ask us how we'd paid!!!!!.
Which we thought was very inappropriate.
While we there another static caravan arrived on site and was then informed by the said new manager that his boss had done a big deal with Sizewell C and that there will be over 20 static caravans arriving on site for the workers from Sizewell.
This is quite a small site so not a lot of room left for touring caravans.
Then the same night we had to endure very loud music coming from his static caravan which was next to our caravan, it continued till nearly 11 o'clock at night, until we asked if he could turn it down.
There always seemed to be a problem with the smell coming from the toilet waste point and the ladies toilet block.

Positiv Good size pitches. Pretty much level.
Good WiFi. 15-20 minutes walk into Halesworth. Nice pedestrian walkway of shops, galleries coffee shops and restaurants there. A recommend the Angel Hotel for food!

Negativ A bit of road noise but quiet at night.
A great shame the adjacent pub is closed.

Positiv Well laid out, could choose own pitch, very hot shower, welcoming owner
Quiet site not many people there
Good recycling options including a bin for composting food scraps

Negativ We stayed thur to Sunday and no one emptied the bins in the ladies or cleaned much in the facilities.
The one shower in the ladies was good but the drain bit got flooded out on the sat night and wasn't draining .

Positiv Good location, site well kept. Site was not busy so no issue with 1 toilet/shower and facilities were clean with lots of hot water and good shower pressure. Pot wash area good too. Easy walk into Halesworth (about 1 mile).

Negativ Too much road noise for me.
WiFi good signal bit seemed to block iPlayer etc.
