Mill Farm Camping

Positiv Beautiful site with lovely walks around the lakes and lots of wildlife and animals to see. The children loved going over the bridges too (the dog not so much!) The little tourist information hut with games and toys you can borrow and lots of information inside was a lovely addition and also the free Wifi was unexpected but very welcome. There's also a tennis court available with everything you need but we didn't use it. Great amenities aswell, the toilet/shower block was always clean and tidy. The pitches were a really good size so you didn't feel crammed in at all and there's lots of free space infront of the pitches so children can play without the worry of annoying other campers. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again!

Negativ Not really a "dislike" but a small play area or a set of swings would have been an added bonus for the children but it didn't effect our stay at all.

Positiv Beautiful site with generous pitch, great facilities and very friendly and accommodating owners. We enjoyed playing tennis and being next to the beck. Excellent location - rural and peaceful but within 10mins drive to shops, pretty towns and 15mins to the beach.

Positiv This is a beautiful and very peaceful site, but also without pretention. We had a lovely friendly welcome. The toilet and shower facilities were plenty clean and well maintained, with plenty of hot water. There was decent washing up space as well, and a separate toilet block with a whole bunch of tourist information for the local area available.

Really appreciated the added extras, like basic tennis racquets available so we could use the court on site, and a selection of games available for rainy days (of which we did have a few).

Negativ Nothing really - we seemed to be there at peak wasp season but that's nobody's fault..!

Positiv The campsite was in a lovely location - the local pub is amazing! There’s lots of wildlife and it was peaceful. Fire pits were available and wood could be purchased on site.
I am told there was a games shed for the kids which was a nice addition, as were the tennis courts. There was wifi and it worked well when you were within range.
The toilets/ showers were acceptably maintained, but keep your shoes on in the shower because there are frogs everywhere!! The little bridges over the lake add some lovely charm.

Negativ My main issue was that there is goose poo everywhere. I imagine it’s not too bad if you’re in a caravan, but as someone staying in a tent it wasn’t great.
I did feel like the tents on the non-electric pitches felt like an afterthought, being situated in one corner away from everyone else. It felt a bit like a caravan site which allowed non electric pitches as a way to make some extra money.
There could also do with being more wood available as we ran out!

Positiv I stayed in a tent, with eletric.
Very peaceful, very clean site.
Toilets and showers clean.
Owners helpfully and polite, see each person to there pitch.
Great for wild life, because of the lakes.
There is WiFi on the site. Can be a little temperamental. Not that I needed it.

Negativ There was nothing I dis liked.

Positiv Was greeted on site and given all relevant information and map, facilities ars good, clean and well maintained. 20 mins drive from Norwich, coast and broads.

Positiv Site was fabulous, completely surrounded by nature, woods, fields and water. Facilities were very clean and well stocked. Very generous pitch sizes and excellent value for money. Excellent position to explore the coast or inland to Norwich.

Negativ As we were staying for a fortnight it would have been good to have a laundry area, not necessarily machines but a sink for hand washing would be sufficient.
