Positiv: This is my kind of site! The pitches are clearly marked and everything is beautifully kept and attractively laid out. It is wonderfully peaceful and the views from the pitches are lovely. The welcome text tells you everything you need to know before you arrive.

The reception area is full of useful information, suggestions for walks and contains the toilet and shower, a small fridge, washing up area, games and videos to borrow, hairdryer and vanity mirror and hair and bathroom products available to use. It's all very tastefully done to a high standard and presented immaculately.

As other reviews mention, there is only one toilet and shower, however it is a very small site so there will never be many people around and there was never a queueing issue for me.

The Red Lion is a short walk away with a good menu at sensible prices.

Looking forward to my next visit!

Positiv: Loved being surround by the animals. So well looked after and friendly with humans. Great facilities and cute touches such as toiletries available for the guests, fridge etc. Rated low on child friendly as it’s an adults only site, this isn’t a downside as we wanted a calmer environment.

Positiv: What a beautiful campsite and run by such a friendly family. So accommodating and the facilities are 5 star. Also a bonus for the time of year we were staying was to wake up to watch the lambs chasing each other around the field. Lots of information of the local area provided and a local 5 mile pub walk (with 3 pubs on route) mapped out in the reception which was a great walk.

Positiv: Lovely, peaceful little adult only 5/6 pitch site surrounded by fields and new born lambs.
Text received prior to arrival from owner and made arriving a very smooth process.
Great facilities and always kept immaculate during our stay.
Level hardstanding pitch for wheels with plenty of grass for awning if required with incredible views.
Owners very friendly and approachable.
Wanted to get away and relax for the weekend and 100% achieved that goal.
Many thanks, wholeheartedly recommend will definitely return.

Negativ: It’s only a very minor thing but a separate toilet from the shower room would be ideal so that if people were in the shower room you could still use the toilet. Worse case scenario is we use our van toilet.

Positiv: Lovely peaceful location with lots of activities available within the local area.
Very well maintained site with spotless facilities and a wide variety of farm animals to keep us entertained, especially the new born lambs.
Very helpful and friendly hosts who made our stay even more special.

Positiv: This is a little gem of a campsite. The showers and toilets are like a 5* hotel. the place is immaculate. It's a small working farm. They sell eggs and fire wood there's a BBQ and a BBQ sitting area with picnic tables this is my al time favourite place. The people are so friendly and helpful.

Positiv: Absolutely beautiful site, so peaceful, clean and very well maintained.The shower and dish washing facilities were warm and spotlessly clean,there’s board games to use,hair dryer aswell.The owners were extremely helpful with any questions and gave us a 5 mile loop to walk which had 3 pubs.Fantastic stay will definitely return

Positiv: What this site has to offer in a way of facilities is outstanding- the owners are two of the nicest people we’ve had the privilege of meeting and were so welcoming which is rare for campsites ! The facilities are in their actual house the bathroom shower was amazing— they should definitely up their prices but in all honesty I can’t praise this site enough,,, 10 out of 10 from us , well definitely stay here again.

Negativ: Having to go home, could have stayed here for weeks but work beckons sadly.

Positiv: Omg, what lovely people Karen and Andrew are. Couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic location, beautiful pitches, spotless facilities and some great animals to see on the small holding. Cows sheep lambs goats ducks hens cats and 'boots' the dog. No wi-fi but mobile data comes in at 264 mbps on 4g and 200mbps on 5g. Will definitely be going back.
