Positiv Great facilities, very friendly and the fox den was cozy. Really as a homely vibe even with everything outdoors and separated from your sleeping space

Negativ If you're on a motorbike the driveway is loose gravel, there is little to no phone signal there (great if you want to get away from the world for a weekend)

Positiv Loved Everything about our stay. Clean, quiet, peaceful and beautiful forest.
The loos were spotless and had light switches and wall paper. The shower was gas heated with small changing area with shelving.

Everything was thought out thouroughly for a relaxing stay. The play areas had football goals, a ping pong table and swings as well as a tree house with slide. Forest school ( a mini wood hut village of all things woodland craft and play) was run by the dedicated campsite staff, sharing their passion for the woodland with all. Painting, woodturning, archery, rifle shooting, high ropes, low ropes...and of course water and cups provided for the children and hot dogs -and tea and coffee for the adults!

The site would be blissful for booking entirely for a summer gathering, birthday, wedding or just to be with family and friends- they even had glamping wooden caravans, canvas bell tent and a small static caravan seperately tucked into the woods if tent life didnt appeal!

We can't wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Positiv An absolutely fabulous site with excellent facilities. Large pitches, great areas for children to play, very well equipped, fire pits and barbecues provided, beautiful site and an amazing forest school, clean toilets, shower and washing up facilities.

Judie's communication was excellent in advance of our visit and when we experienced a couple of issues with the tent was very helpful and quick to help.

The morning chorus was outstanding.

We'll definitely be back!

Positiv Very hospital, it's lovely that they include almost everything you can need, makes traveling light on the motorbike very easy

We don't allow cars as people run them for charging purposes, poluting our air and play music from them, disturbing the peace of our place, but we would have been happy for you to have got closer. Positiv Fabulous site. Birdsong was out of this world. Firepit and firewood included in booking. Lovely hot shower and very clean toilets. Fantastic trees. Lovely under cover seating area. Felt very safe as a solo traveller knowing that there were staff on site 24hrs/ day. Loved the no cars on site concept. Would be great peace of mind if camping with children.

We are glad that most things met your expectations, but sorry customer service did not seem to be perfect. I know you were out a lot whilst you stayed and that Mike spent a lot of the day-time talking to all our campers checking they were ok and getting more logs. I believe that after we had left one day and you needed more logs he was able to do that for you too. We always advertise as an unmanned site and are there if needed, we try not to interfere in the peace of your stay though. We very much hope you enjoyed the stay enough to visit again.

Positiv Beautiful, peaceful site with great facilities. Hot shower and flushing toilets along with compost toilet for at night. Got a lot more than we expected in the ready tent including double and 3 single inflatable beds. Camping kitchen with stove and kettle. Outdoor furniture with bbq and firepit. We all had a great time here

Vom Platzbetreiber: Hi, thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and would consider a return visit. We would love to know how we did not meet your expectation regarding facilities, customer service and child friendliness.

We have a shared kitchen for all the things you might forget, flushing toilets a hot water shower and large pitches. We have a huge playground with a tree house, swing and sand pit for the children, we don't provide bats and balls anymore as we have found the disrespect level for property since covid has been such that nothing survives even 24 hrs. You have a fabulous forest school and another huge field in which to play football.

In terms of customer service, I am really sorry if we let you down in anyway. We had a crazy busy bank holiday, but on the Monday we did spend sometime with family so we were not around all day, just the morning and late afternoon rather than all day. We do say we are unmanned though.

Please let us know how we could have done better. We always want to improve.
