Positiv Hardstanding pitch, it was fairly level.
Pub is great has a very friendly atmosphere and loads of games/books.

Negativ All serviced pitch consisted of electric supply, no water or grey waste.
Pub was only open of an evening with limited food choices… pizza on both nights.
Site is extremely isolated. Felt more isolated with the pub being closed most of the time.
Toilets and showers weren’t cleaned during the two nights we stayed… grubby.
WiFi only available at the pub.
Out of season/low season this site is best treated as a base/pitch only.

Take everything you need… food and drink. If you have a self contained unit all the better.

Check what’s open before you go and if and what they are serving food wise.

Electric meter… non refundable and it goes a long way. Two nights was less than £7.50 running hot water, electric heater and lights etc. Don’t overpay on the card.

Positiv The pod we stayed in was perfect ; having a shower and a toilet made a huge difference especially when it was so rainy ! Immaculate site and very friendly hosts . Pub was quaint and they stocked books , games and dvds which was great for the kids

Negativ Shame that the pub only serves food Wednesday to Sunday and we stayed Monday and Tuesday ; next time we will make sure we get to experience what other glampers told us is ‘amazing food’

Positiv great pub, great pitches, lovely location quiet village with countryside walks

Negativ showers and toilet cabin not suitable, ones attached to pub better but need cleaning.
wifi good in pub, but does not reach the pitches and there was no 4g signal either

Negativ The pod we hired didn’t have duvet and pillows as advertised in pitchup, Male toilets should have an encouraging notice sign to wash hands after toilets.

Positiv A lovely campsite. I was made to feel very welcome from the minute I arrived.
The food and drink in the pub was really good.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Positiv Comfortable well equipped POD in a pleasant rural location. The pub was very good too.

Positiv My family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The pub wasn't great and the site had good facilities. It is not the biggest campsite but we liked that. We hope to visit again next year.

Positiv Really was a nice site would definitely go there again and recommend.

Negativ The restaurant food was not great options so would just take my own.
