Looking for a little bit of Leicestershire luxury? Woodland View Glamping is a fine spot for some of that – the high-spec pods here sit in their own three-acre pasture, with gorgeous rural views all around and plenty of lovely touches both inside and out. The owners of this site have been living here for many years, on a dairy farm that had passed down through several generations. After selling off the main farm business a few years back, they retained this part of the land and dedicated themselves to setting up a couple of glamping pods to allow guests to share in the rural experience. Great attention to detail has gone into this place – and a case in point is the way the pods have been angled to give them the best view of the sunset from the outdoor deck area. Each pod has its own outdoor seating and barbecue/firepit to help you make the most of your outdoor time, with complimentary logs, kindling and matches provided to get your blaze going. Inside, it’s all just as lovely – each pod sleeps up to four (in a double bed and double sofa bed) and has its own kitchen area (with hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge). There’s also an ensuite shower room and a smart TV. Bedding and towels are provided to help you travel light, and you’ll be given a complimentary welcome pack to get you going too. All in all it’s a comfy and stylish stay – but also a rural one, so you’ll be able to see the cows being milked on site, take walks on the bridlepaths by the farm and find country pubs nearby. Dogs are welcome, and can sleep in a secure outdoor kennel by your pod.

Positiv Me and my partner absolutely loved Woodland View. Gorgeous views, nature, peace and quiet, animals around you, exactly what we needed to escape busy city life. Check in and out very easy. Janet provided all information before we arrived and journey itself was very nice.
Place is very clean, everything provided and we loved small shop with local products. All you need is to take a deep breath and relax.
Welcome basket was amazing, brings a lot of childhood memories. There's a lot of heart in this place and we highly recommend to visit.

Positiv We booked a last-minute sleepover, only wanting private bathroom & toilet facilities, but we got so much more!
The farm is a little gem. It was so quiet and peaceful, yet it had little lambs running around for the children to see and enjoy.
Andrew was amazing; he welcomed us and shared his knowledge and experience with us, let the children feed the baby lambs, watch cows being milked and calves being fed, drive a JCB and enjoy the little library, encouraging them to take the books to read, free of charge.
The Pod is incredibly clean, tidy, and so well-organized! It felt brand new. The bed was very comfortable, the shower very strong, and the temperature just right; it was a luxury glamping!
Every little detail was taken care of, and to top it all, there was a welcome hamper waiting for us: fresh bread, butter, eggs, jam, milk and cheese. Amazing value for money. We want to go back ASAP to visit the baby lambs before they grow up!

Positiv Beautiful area, beautiful pods, beautiful people.

We had a lovely time in Janet and Andrew’s luxurious camping pod. The pods even have a kitchen corner, bathroom with shower, and underfloor heating. The area is beautiful, and we were provided with hiking maps. Janet and Andrew even thought about everything dog-related.

Andrew showed us how he milks his cows, and his knowledge is second to none. The kids even got to feed a little lamb.

Positiv Everything, honestly it's such an amazing place to stay 🤗 the hosts Andrew and Janet can't do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble everything was provided in the pod from tea, coffee,sugar to milk a freshly baked cake 😋 and a lovely welcome hamper it was spotless amazing views and so peaceful and quiet, plus they have a little farm shop stocked with homemade produce and drinks and lots of other bits it's just a little Gem of a place 🤗
