Langley Wilding Campsite

Positiv We loved every moment of our stay at this eco campsite! Such a beautiful place to camp, with the meadow in full flower and the only noise coming from a Blackcap warbling cheerfully in the hedgerow. It’s a truly wild and low-impact site and just so relaxing. The toilets, showers and washing up area were all spotless and checked regularly. Lots of walks to do in the area and the Peak District is very close too. Highly recommend this place - we will be back!

Positiv Absolutely fantastic place! Very quiet, family-friendly, and with a limited number of tents, which gives everyone plenty of privacy. The composting toilets were spotless and smelled fresh, the showers had hot water, and there was also a convenient dishwashing area. Everything is very eco-friendly. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Positiv Fantastic site, perfect for families, the pitch was plenty big enough for my husband & I, the kids, and their grandparents.
Best toilet and shower facilities I've experienced, extremely clean and no smell at all!
Loved not having cars all over the place and just enjoying all the nature, especially the birds. Can't wait to come and stay again.

Positiv Quiet, peaceful, back to nature site, nicely spaced out, good sized pitches set in a wild flower meadow, and not overcrowded. Facilities were good, compost toilets, showers and washing up area kept immaculately clean. Owners incredibly kind, caring and helpful about the local area. Garden centre and tearooms up the road were lovely and a walk in the woods was great too. Would not hesitate to return.

Positiv Amazing site and 10-15 minute walk to the pub. Pitches were a generous size. The site is just starting out so not that this was a dislike but the showers were cold thing in the morning but were warm in the afternoon.

The gas water heater mustn't have ignited properly, we've tested them a few times to work out the most reliable way to get them working and we'll put up signs so hopefully the problem won't happen again. Positiv Lovely family run wild camping site close to Peak District with generous circular pitches in meadow, adjacent to woodland with stream. The charming facilities block features bunting, composting loos and piping hot showers. Camp fires are positively encouraged and the car free field means children can roam free making it ideal for families.

Negativ Nothing. I wish all campsites were this good. My sons and I loved it.
