Riddings Wood Holiday Park

Positiv Was an amazing weekend away. Log cabin is so beautiful, well decorated, warm, cosy and romantic. Kitchenette had everything needed for a weekend stay.
Hot tub was amazing. Will definitely be back to stay again.
No WiFi but wasn’t needed.

Positiv Everything. The owners where lovely and helpful. The lodge was perfect, cosy and warm, and decorated for Christmas. The hot tub was perfect and ready for our arrival.

Positiv The shower block was very clean and the water was hot

Negativ The washing up area was not under cover (canopy) and it started to rain so unable to complete

Our pitch was low down the field and we found the walk to the toilet block by the entrance quite steep

Sorry to hear that you found it difficult to access the toilet we have only just become aware and would have moved you closer if you made us aware during your stay.

In answer to the pot wash area we are planning to put this area under cover in the near future.

Positiv Lovely hot tub and nice little setting. Was cheap and cheerful.

Negativ Not as clean as would have liked and no internet. Lady at office was rude when asked about internet.

We do not have WIFI on site this is not advertised or charged for and we apologise that you felt we were being rude this was not our intention.

The housekeeping have been made aware that the lodge was not as clean as you expected but we were unable to give them feedback regarding any specific issues with cleanliness and were not made aware of any issues whilst you were on site. We do pride ourselves with high standards and are sorry on this occasion you were disappointed.

Positiv Lovely site with clean showers and toilets. Staff at site were very welcoming especially to our little girl.

Positiv Nice lay out, plenty of space between pitches. Nice park for children. Shame the large wooden toilet block in the middle wasn’t open. Only one at the top of site. Nice helpful staff.

Positiv Unfortunely i couldnt pitch my tent as it was really bad weather but i did visit the site and it looked really nice. The lodges looked really pretty and there were caravans pitched on the site and some brave people had set their tent up even though it was raining and very cold. I will definetly be back when the weather is sunnier though.

Positiv Peaceful site with clean facilities, very friendly staff. Location easy to find, lots of places of interest not too far. Pitch was fully serviced and electric included. Spacious pitch and dog friendly.
