Syntes om Large allocated pitches, clean facilities, wildlife, pub & cafe with great food literally a 1 minute walk away & Ayra was super nice and helpful.

I am glad you found the campsite to be peaceful - we want people to be able to relax and have a lovely time in nature.
I am sorry you found the facilities not to standard. We have three toilet blocks, an older block and two very new, lovely ones. They are cleaned every day and most people commend us for the cleanliness of the facilities. Unfortunately, sometimes people leave them in a mess and, if we are not informed about it they don't get cleaned until the next day.

Syntes om Lovely pub/cafe next door. Pizza night was excellent. Friendly owners. Very friendly chickens visited us every day!

Glad you enjoyed pizza night, nothing beats a wood-fired pizza eaten outside in the early evening. Hope the chickens weren't too friendly and I especially hope they didn't steal any of your food! The cafe was shut this year for brunches, but I am pleased you liked the lovely village cafe at the pub a 2 minute walk away.

Reasonably consistent wifi available.

Syntes ikke om The cleanliness of the facilities was appalling and clearly not seen a cleaning cloth in several months. Very, very dilapidated and grubby.
Massive disappointment that the blue rabbit cafe was "closed for the year" (written on a chalk board outside) despite being advertised as open on the website.
A genuine shame as this place has such potential to be great if only some time & effort would be put in into maintaining and cleaning it.

Fra bestyreren: Sorry you thought the facilities weren't at their usual standard of cleanliness. They are cleaned everyday and nearly everyone comments about how clean they are. On the Saturday last weekend the usual cleaner was off sick so someone else came in at the last minute to clean the toilets, but they didn't have as long as usual to do them. I see you stayed near the older campsite toilet block. We also have two new lovely toilet blocks by the campsite entrance that you could use.

This year the Blue Rabbit Cafe is open for wood-fired pizzas on Friday evenings - it says this on the website and in emails. There is also a cafe 100m away at the pub in the village.

I hope you managed to come to the famous 'animal feeding' experience on Saturday at 5.30pm and got to meet the newborn baby alpaca, the baby goats and the new puppy - as well as feed all the usual animals - sheep, pigs, alpacas, goats etc and got to see Cem the sheepdog do his tricks - people love animal feeding and often list it as a highlight of their stay.

Sorry you didn't have a good time, most people love it here because it is clean, friendly, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, by some woods, near the village park and a short drive from the beach. We also have all the farm animals for people to visit, do pizzas at the cafe and are a 2-minute walk from a pub and a cafe. People like it so much that many come back year after year.

Syntes om Family-friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Animal feeding is great for the kids. Campsite a good location for trips to coast and other Suffolk attractions. Highly recommend!

Syntes om Kids loved the animals, bathrooms were clean, Arya was really lovely and helpful.
Shingle Street was pleasantly surprising for solitude!

Syntes ikke om Can't fault the site, but nearest groceries require a drive- one is on the army camp at Sutton, the other is well stocked Morrisons Daily at Hollesley.
