Syntes om Everything about the place. It was beautiful and peaceful. The owner was lovely and helped us out when our electric socket wasn’t working. We definitely want to book again.

Syntes om Lovely big pitch.
Cars were parked away from camping area so felt nice and open.
Ducks roaming around and goats etc to pet.
Quiet.
Pub with excellent food at a reasonable price just a few minutes walk away.
Showers were good, plenty of space in the room for a family.
Lots of useful things, freezer, microwave etc as well as board games and books.
Good value for money.

Syntes ikke om Toilets were interesting, not a major problem as only for a weekend. However, my granddaughter has a disability and found the steps quiet difficult as they were big and she is used to a grab rail at home so the "quirkiness " of them was a challenge. If there was any scope for just one conventional toilet in the shower area it would have helped. The compostable ones would still be there for those happy to use them, my other granddaughter didn't have a problem with them, but they are not good for anyone with mobility/sensory issues (In fairness though it is stated on website they are compostable toilets!).

You're right, the eco loos are quirky but eco friendly and much less disruption than other installations.

Sorry your daughter found them tricky...we will look again at hand rails etc, we are constantly reviewing our facilities...so thanks for your feedback.

Syntes om Such an idilic location, only 6 or so pitches all with electric hook ups, large area around your pitch so lots of space between you and the neighbours. Loved the animals (goats, ducks, sheep, chickens and cat). Composting toilets in the shade and perfectly fine. Fridges/microwave/kettle for use of needed. Showers areas clean. Super easy to come and go as you please more or less.

Syntes ikke om Showers were cold in the morning, my only slightly annoyance but also invigorating, definitely woke you up!. Presumably the other campers had used it all the hot water up before we got there. We showered in the evening instead and plenty of hot water then so on a whole not a problem.

Sorry you had a cold shower, the hot water is set for 6am to 11am, it must have been re heating after a busy morning...

The sun was out in Dilwyn and we had some lovely campers....

Syntes om Lovely welcome from Mark. Good facilities including excellent shower. Enjoyed a tasty meal at the community owned pub 5 minutes walk away. We’ll be back!

Syntes om Very beautiful setting, ample pitches and wonderful hosts. Mark was very friendly and helpful, he welcomed the children in to the animal pen during feeding time for them to get a closer look.
Facilities were fine, compost toilet and shower areas were clean and easy to use.
The washing up area wasn't covered so could have been very wet if raining, only downside.
Overall excellent, we would go back again

Syntes om Small site with 2 toilets and 2 showers. Washing up area had hot water which was a bonus as well.
Mark and his family were all welcoming and great with the kids and the animals were all very well looked after.
Very peaceful site to wind down.
Park right opposite and a beautiful church.
Fridge and freezers also provide and for a small fee could have logs fire pit and a bbq which was an added bonus.

We are listed as having two composting eco loos, so hopefully it's not a surprise for people.
