Many thanks for taking the time to review Newgale Campsite. We appreciate your comments about the shower but if we don't make a small charge, we find campers tend to stay in the showers a lot longer and create queues.
This weekend, we hosted a group of youngsters from Cardiff football group. This is the 3rd year we have hosted them and it appears the group has grown to a size which is not unsuitable for our campsite and the children impacted our other campers in a negative manner. We have spoken to the group leader and agree that they will look for somewhere more suitable for next year.
We're sorry to hear you won't recommend us or revisit, you'll see we have a 9 out of 10 rating on Pitch up which is due to the large amount of positive reviews we get. Perhaps a trip to us in September would be more suited to your requirements,

Em va agradar Beautiful spot, 😍 loved the area, great bus app to download to get bus to st davids and solva, helpful staff, (from the midlands). Great toilets and shower facilities clean no issues with thats at all, great dishes cleaning area.

No em va agradar Only one thing, it would off been ni w to have a hair dryer available to use in the shower area.

No em va agradar I went into the caravan to thank somebody for our stay, but the young lady was so focused on her phone that she wasn't even aware that I was there...so I left.

Em va agradar Such a fantastic campsite, the staff were all great, the Landsker pub was a great addition, great facilities, choice of where to pitch and car right next to it, great location. Would definitely stay again!

No em va agradar The only thing we felt was a bit rubbish was the phone charging facilities, £1 got us 11% of charge, but we were able to charge when we went to the landsker for food so it worked out fine.

No em va agradar Bbq smell. Rugby on our van. Noise until after 11pm, but might have been because of Football.
You Can See the Beach - but we were not able to reach it because of the stones.
When I put the Money in for the shower, it Starts Right in this Moment - but I still have to undress.

Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased you enjoyed the fresh sea breeze during the hot weather.

We're sorry to hear that other aspects of your stay weren't quite what you were hoping for. During busy periods, particularly when major sporting events are on, the campsite and pub can be livelier than usual, although we do ask all guests to keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. As BBQs are a favourite way of cooking for campers, the smell of BBQs should be expected.

Our campsite sits directly opposite the beach, which is accessed via a pebble bank before opening onto over two miles of beautiful golden sand. While the stones can make access a little more challenging for some, many guests enjoy the stunning beach once they reach it.

Our showers are coin-operated, and the timer begins as soon as the coin is inserted. This is clearly stated in the instructions at the machine so guests can plan ahead, and we recommend simply popping out of the cubicle in a towel to pop the coin in. We appreciate your comments and will continue to review our facilities.

We are not able to add facilities to the beach as this is not our land.
