Non mi è piaciuto .20p per 2 min shower .
I have a campervan so have a shower just think it’s a bit mean when you pay £26 to park up then faffing around with pay machines for tokens in shower . My only gripe !

We keep our showers at 20p for two minutes to help manage demand during our busiest periods, ensuring guests can access the facilities without long queues, while also encouraging responsible water and energy use.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely 2 night break , very friendly camp site, dog friendly and lovely walks on the beach that you can access over the pebbles. Strict with noise after 11pm and this was very much adhered to. Nice bistro on site and lovely selection of coffee . Live music on weekends , unfortunately I missed that as had to leave the Friday morning . Would return to this lovely camp site

Mi è piaciuto Every member of staff both on the campsite and in the cafe were super friendly and amazingly helpful. The campsite is absolutely beautiful and equipped with everything you may need, shower and toilet block, utility room, electric hookup, water taps. It is situated in a beautiful part of wales with a beach right across the road. Beautiful scenery. Definitely going back.

Mi è piaciuto Staff were friendly and helpfull. All toilets and showers was always kept clean and tidy. Pitched on the no EHU field which wad 6 metres apart from each other, there was plenty of room. Beach was opposite mainly large pebbles but sandy when tide was out and dogs was allowed on it which is not always allowed. Lovely walks
We had pizza and chips from the little cafe/bar which was tasty. Ideal place to explore the area from.

Non mi è piaciuto Noise from the nearby bar playing loud music all day became a bit irritating on an otherwise peaceful site.

Non electric pitches are not marked, but are supposed to be 6 meters apart, however by the end of the week the site was rammed and our neighbours couldn’t have been any closer if they’d tried.

We're sorry to hear that the noise from the bar affected your experience. We do host live music events and always aim to make guests aware before arrival of where they will be pitched, including whether the area is likely to be quieter or closer to the bar and entertainment. As you were located nearer the bar area, this can naturally be a livelier part of the campsite, particularly during our scheduled events.

We appreciate that not every guest is looking for the same experience, which is why we offer different areas of the site to suit those who prefer a quieter stay and those who enjoy being closer to the atmosphere and facilities.

Regarding the non-electric pitches, we appreciate your comments. During particularly busy periods, the campsite can become much fuller, and we understand that this may have affected the sense of space between pitches. We always work to manage pitch layouts carefully and maintain a comfortable environment for all guests.

Many thanks for taking the time to review Newgale Campsite. We appreciate your comments about the shower but if we don't make a small charge, we find campers tend to stay in the showers a lot longer and create queues.
This weekend, we hosted a group of youngsters from Cardiff football group. This is the 3rd year we have hosted them and it appears the group has grown to a size which is not unsuitable for our campsite and the children impacted our other campers in a negative manner. We have spoken to the group leader and agree that they will look for somewhere more suitable for next year.
We're sorry to hear you won't recommend us or revisit, you'll see we have a 9 out of 10 rating on Pitch up which is due to the large amount of positive reviews we get. Perhaps a trip to us in September would be more suited to your requirements,
