Em va agradar: Lovely welcome and well kept site. Great pitch by the river. Facilities good and clean. It was a real bonus to be able to have a camp fire. Plan on going back.

No em va agradar: The road was a little close to our pitch but everything else about our location more than made up for it. Won’t stop me booking again and asking for the same spot.

Em va agradar: Loved our stay here with our dog along the riverbank in our campervan & awning. Lots of space to pitch up and came the day before most people were checking out on the bank holiday Monday, so felt like we almost had the place to ourselves! Peaceful and beautiful spot. Great clean facilities and helpful staff. Check out the walk just behind the mobile homes- there’s a really cool bridge you can walk up onto (assuming old train bridge?) Excellent base camp location to go out on day trips and explore all the area has to offer- and only a short drive to Dolgellau, which is definitely worth a mooch. Signal/wifi did not work on our spot, but we were actually quite happy to unplug from the digital world for a few days- there was adequate wifi at the facilities building when we needed to check messages.

No em va agradar: Not that we disliked it, but just so people are aware.. there are big jets fly over during the day, but I don’t think you can avoid that in this part of wales (my husband was actually very excited to watch them zoom past, reminded him of his childhood camping trips) and the campsite is near a road- but honestly it didn’t bother us, nor disrupt our sleep- we tuned it out to the sound of the river flowing, the birds chirping and the sheep baaah-ing :)

No em va agradar: Unfortunately left a day early due to noise at night from next door neighbours also very bad WiFi signal but alert from that it’s fine

No em va agradar: Some traffic noise. Advertised as quiet site no loud music. Unfortunately the tents next door were a large group and played loud music until 11.00pm so didn’t get our early peaceful night as hoped.

Em va agradar: Lovely, warm welcome from reception. The scenery and location really make this site. There is a bus stop nearby on the T3 route and a river flows along the edge of the site. The birdsong was beautiful as were the views up to the mountains around Dolgellau. There is some road noise but this didn't bother us and we live in a very quiet area. We had everything on our pitch although the hookup tested our 25m cable to the limit. There is a nice short walk up to a bridge along the river. The showers were clean and hot but I wondered if only two showers in the ladies is enough for such a big site. There is a nice little kitchen where you can pickup WiFi which was good.

No em va agradar: This isn't really a dislike but we wonder whether it might be difficult for larger motorhomes to access the hardstanding in wet weather as there is quite a large chunk of grass in front. It might be worth checking before turning up.

Del gerent: Very glad you enjoyed yourselves here. The weather helped...! But we actually have 3 showers not 2 in the ladies and the gents. So that's 6 in all and one for families/disabled.

And our hardstanding pitches vary; not all have a large chunk of grass in front. But they look nice don't they?

Em va agradar: We really loved this campsite, it is such a beautiful location along a river side. The lady at reception was really helpful and friendly, giving us advice on local hikes in the area.
We were also able to have a small fire at the fire pit near the pitch.
As well as this there was free WiFi near the reception and a nice indoor area with some board games.

No em va agradar: The only downside for me was the woman's shower room was cold, although the water was warm, it was a bit too cold for comfort. Although the shower in the disabled bathroom was good.
