Gostou: The pitches were lovely (lower riverside) quiet, clean, flat, and the fire pit by the riverbank.

Shower/toilet blocks were clean. Lovely to have hot shower on site.

WiFi up at the reception area, other than that no signal anywhere on site (perfect for a break away from life)

Washing up facilities by main block were ideal, used them to bulk wash out kitchenware before we packed up.

Owners/management were amazing, accommodated us and allowed us to alter the booking at short notice (luckily the pitches were available for an extra night!)

Location - stunning, peaceful, the kids absolutely loved paddling in the river by the pitch.

Gostou: Lovely site, stayed riverside. Beautiful big pitch by the river.

Não gostou: Only thing was we were by bridge so motorbike noise . Lovely sunny days, so they were all out in force. But can't be helped.

Gostou: Lovely welcome and well kept site. Great pitch by the river. Facilities good and clean. It was a real bonus to be able to have a camp fire. Plan on going back.

Não gostou: The road was a little close to our pitch but everything else about our location more than made up for it. Won’t stop me booking again and asking for the same spot.

Gostou: Excellent site. The staff were very helpful. The location of the site is very good with shops and eating places a short drive away. The actual pitch was down by the river which was very good.

Não gostou: Be aware that during the day pitch number 5 can get noisy. It is next to the tarzan swing over the river.

Gostou: Loved our stay here with our dog along the riverbank in our campervan & awning. Lots of space to pitch up and came the day before most people were checking out on the bank holiday Monday, so felt like we almost had the place to ourselves! Peaceful and beautiful spot. Great clean facilities and helpful staff. Check out the walk just behind the mobile homes- there’s a really cool bridge you can walk up onto (assuming old train bridge?) Excellent base camp location to go out on day trips and explore all the area has to offer- and only a short drive to Dolgellau, which is definitely worth a mooch. Signal/wifi did not work on our spot, but we were actually quite happy to unplug from the digital world for a few days- there was adequate wifi at the facilities building when we needed to check messages.

Não gostou: Not that we disliked it, but just so people are aware.. there are big jets fly over during the day, but I don’t think you can avoid that in this part of wales (my husband was actually very excited to watch them zoom past, reminded him of his childhood camping trips) and the campsite is near a road- but honestly it didn’t bother us, nor disrupt our sleep- we tuned it out to the sound of the river flowing, the birds chirping and the sheep baaah-ing :)

Gostou: Very clean site facility’s were nice and clean ..well maintained pitches can’t fault the place and setup.lovely lady on reception very helpful

Não gostou: Unfortunately left a day early due to noise at night from next door neighbours also very bad WiFi signal but alert from that it’s fine
