Em va agradar Loved the location right on the river, quiet, small site with an amazing cafe. The breakfast was delicious.
We rode our bikes along the river, path was very narrow at times and the brambles scratched but very enjoyable, all the same, definitely come again.

Em va agradar Woodland and riverside walks, ponds and paddleboarding. There were plenty of adventurous play areas for kids, but ours tended to just like playing with the many sticks laying around.

No em va agradar Amenities. Wash station had no hot water or drain. Toilet in the horse box was nicely decorated but very cramped, and the showers experience was stressful. Put £1 in outside the shower, and your 3 min starts immediately, so you have to rush in, lock the door, strip, shower and rinse before it cuts off leaving you soapy, or have a friend outside supporting you. There were also 3 massive and extremely bright security lights shining on my tent every night, combined with the sound of generators, let me know we were in an industrial estate. Place has potential to be lovely, but feels unfinished.

The drainage from the sinks goes back into the ground, recycling the water which we feel is more environmentally friendly and particularly in this extreme heat.

Sorry if you felt the toilet was cramped, we have 2 other toilets including a large fully accessible toilet that was shown on arrival.

We had our electrician attend site today and reprogrammed the showers, £1 now equals 5 minutes of shower time. If the person before you does not turn the shower to 'stop' before you put in your coins, sadly it will start immediately. We do have a sign that states this but unfortunately cannot constantly check if people are doing so.

Such a shame you did not camp river / lake side on the field instead. There was plenty of room on the 3 nights you stayed. We currently cannot help when units in the estate run extra machinery in the heat. We have never had this level of noise before and we are looking into provisions.

Em va agradar We staying in a woodland plot and it was brilliant. The closest thing you can get to wild camping without actually having no facilities. The staff were also fantastic. I didn't catch their names but both were very friendly and helpful. Cafe is lovely on site as well.

No em va agradar Very small detail. We were quite far away from the only available toilet. 1 toilet on camp that size feels inadequate. We didn't have any problems with it and it was all very clean, but I imagine on busier times, it could be an issue

Em va agradar We all enjoyed the whole experience it was great we camped in the woodland part nice and peaceful even the dog loved walking around.
My boy got to do some fishing which he enjoyed
We booked 2 nites but had to leave early due to a emergency

No em va agradar No dislikes apart from waiting for a shower and a few kids came along and expected to jump in front
Bit rude the way they were speaking saying we was taking ages even though we were paying we were only freshening up as we just had a bbq for dinner

Em va agradar Friendly staff, nice cafe and not too far walk from the car. Showers and toilets were clean too. Paddle board availability was also good.

No em va agradar On our final night the campers near us were loud and unruly late into the night - meaning we struggled to sleep.

Em va agradar how friendly the staff and the other campers were. Very cosy site and brilliant access to the river . 24 hour co op opposite for last minute buys. good secure safe site for families with kids. also quieter pitches for if required

No em va agradar if i were being super picky i would say they could do with an extra toilet and shower. having
said that i didnt have to wait more that 5 minutes to use the toilet or shower at any point. also , not the camps fault but would love to see the lake'pond in the middle of campsite cleared of the pond weed and back in use. - i can only imagine how amazing it would be to see the little boat on it etc

We are working hard to clear the lake, but with the long spell of long and dry weather the duck weed is moving quicker than we can hahaha.
