Em va agradar Happy with our stay as we were here to be near the RAF bases so pretty near to both mildenhall and lakenheath, toilets and showers both clean, would recommend this site

The newly built showers are amazing with heated towel rails.

Didn’t use the other onsite facilities.

Lots of water points and fire extinguishers dotted around.

Still work being undertaken but they were respectful, quiet and very tidy.

Amazing value for money will definitely be visiting again

Em va agradar Welcoming Atmosphere: The owner was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. When we had an issue with the electrics on our first pitch, she kindly spent a good 20 minutes personally trying to fix it for us, which we really appreciated.

Level & Convenient Pitches: The caravan pitches were nicely level, making setup straightforward. It was also a lovely touch to have picnic tables available around the site for guests to use.

Spotless Facilities: The brand-new shower and toilets were kept beautifully clean throughout our stay, being attended to 2 to 3 times every single day.

Relaxing Environment: Although other reviews mentioned road noise, it didn’t bother us at all. We actually really enjoyed sitting back and watching plenty of aeroplanes fly over!

Great Fishing Lakes: There are three lovely fishing lakes on-site with a handy honesty box system for payments. While my husband didn't catch anything this time, our neighbours did, so the fish are definitely there!

Relaxed Timings: The 12:00 pm check-in and 2:00 pm check-out times are very generous, allowing us to have a stress-free arrival and departure.

No em va agradar Ground Material: The site appears to use reclaimed soil which was unfortunately quite dusty and contained a fair amount of broken glass. As we were travelling with a senior dog and a puppy, we had to be extra careful and gathered three piles of glass from our pitch (10 The Laurels) during our 4 nights. It would be amazing if the owners could cover this with fresh soil and grass in the future to make it completely pet and child-friendly.

Pitch Setup & Layout: We had requested an edge spot for our dogs, but it was a "choose your own pitch" setup on arrival. The perfect corner spot was unfortunately blocked because another camper had parked their car right in the middle of it. Our first chosen pitch (4 The Laurels) then turned out to have faulty electrics, so we had to move over to pitch 10.

Minor Utility & Site Tweaks: Our neighbour kept accidentally turning off the main water tap instead of just his own connection. My husband noticed his Y-piece hook-up was loose and letting water by, so he kindly fixed it for him and resolved the issue! There is currently only one shower and two toilets, and the site has ongoing building works for a new cafe, so it's a bit of a work in progress.

Out and About: There is no Wi-Fi on-site, and the nearest pub is a 45-minute walk. It's worth noting for future guests that the walk involves being on the road as there isn't a pedestrian footpath.

Em va agradar Amazing, clean relaxing camp site. Perfect for my son as he is plane mad so being at the top of the runway was brilliant for him. Fresh water at each pitch, toilets where very clean and shower cubical clean with new decking being put on. Also a washing up station is a bonus.

Em va agradar The new toilet shower facilities. Looks like the owners are investing money into the site which will be good in time.

No em va agradar Pitches a bit close . A very dusty ground which i know is a due to a very hot dry summer but hopefully a tarmaced driveway would be good in future. The fishing lakes are crowded with families camping so not quite and relaxing as it should be . Again improvements are being made around the site and lakes so hopefully the future looks promising.

Em va agradar We really enjoyed our stay here. The site is relatively newly opened and looks to be improving everyday. The staff were super friendly and very approachable.
Despite very dry and sandy conditions they did a great job of keeping everything clean.

We enjoyed some nice walks direct from the site and will definitely be returning soon.

Em va agradar Very affordable camping. Turn up and choose your own pitch, friendly peaceful campers in the field , had a little chat with a lovely guy who came to take he's boys camping.

Nice simple facilities, clean toilets

No em va agradar Showers unfortunately briefly out of use, but the owner worked flat out to get them working again to her credit.
