What customers say
This new, developing campground offers great value with large, level sites with water and electric hook-ups. Guests rave about the super clean washrooms, friendly staff, and beautiful fishing lakes. Some noise from a nearby airfield is noted, but many found it quiet and peaceful. Showers aren't available yet, but a shower block is being built. A work in progress with lots of potential.

Perfect for our needs, and excellent value for money
Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked Excellent value for money, good quiet site with plenty of space. Only stayed one night at the weekend, not sure how quiet it is during the week if planes are flying. More sites like this are needed in this country 😊
Disliked I suspect that due to the recent droughts, the ground is quite sparse and sandy with thistles and a few nettles trying to grow on the non electric area, it’s not a problem just an observation.

1 of the best stays in 3 years of travel Incredible £15/night in my T4
Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked One of the best campsites I've ever stayed in after a year and a half of travelling! Brilliant self-check-in, great phone signal, and exceptionally clean toilets considering they've only been open for six weeks. At just £15 a night, it is incredible value.
Disliked No showers yet, but I knew that beforehand, and the owners mentioned they are getting them fitted. Honestly, no real dislikes at all—loved staying here!

Disliked The RAF jet planes were so noisy, taking off regularly until 10pm and again from 7am. For this reason I wouldn't stay at this site again
