How would you like to stay at an award-winning forest park with walks through sheltered tree groves, a sun patio to bask on, plenty of play areas for the youngsters and hilltop viewpoints taking in a sandy beach, the Norfolk coastline and the famed golf course at Royal Cromer? You would? Then take the family tree to Forest Park, a pristinely pretty park set among 100 acres of the Norfolk Coast National Landscape. There’s loads to do on site alongside the woodland walks and gaping at the views, from the grassy space on site for kids to play ball games and run about to the cycling routes in the local area. Forest Park is a mile from the seaside town of Cromer, where there are plenty of restaurants dishing up Cromer crab. Back on site, there's a bar-restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (opening times vary). The well-stocked park shop sells fresh honey produced at the on-park bee hives, alongside fresh hot drinks made with locally sourced coffee beans and freshly baked croissants, bread and pastries: just follow your nose. Toys, camping equipment, newspapers, gifts and a good selection of groceries are also on offer.

Em va agradar Really lovely, well maintained site.
Very scenic set in wooded area with many walks, including walkingg distance to lovely Cromer.
Clean shower and toilet facilities and excellent restaurant and bar with lots of entertainment.
Very well stocked on site shop.
Staff really friendly and excellent security in place.

No em va agradar Where you get rid of waste could have been better designed as this had steps that made it a real struggle. A ramp would be much easier to manage disposing of grey and brown waste.

Em va agradar Lovely spacious site with lovely parks, walks through the fairy forest seeing animals lovely pub and cooked meals, handy shop onsite
Nice big plots nice spaced out not to close to other people's caravans/ Tents, perfect location it's rural so nice and quiet in the day and at night, was lovely to hear the Owls at night

Lovely pub staff and the locals are so friendly and happy,
Had a lovely night for the 90s night with fancy dress, was a great laugh.

No em va agradar The only thing I can say is the toilets and shower facilities need a good deep clean top to bottom as there was alot of cobwebs above my head whilst going toilet and the floors are not clean and the WiFi isnt the greatest kept loosing connection on my TV

Em va agradar Lovely park,in beautiful surroundings,the shop on the site very well stocked and a good choice of everything. The restaurant/pub very reasonably priced Lovely food. Will visit again to this site.The surrounding park of the site has a lot of wildlife that you can see which was wonderful .

No em va agradar Can't say I disliked anything,but as I have a spider phobia seeing a few in the toilets kept me out, and used my own on board my motorhome.

From Forest Park, you can see the village of Overstrand, which has a beach; from here, walk the mile and a half into Cromer for its funfair, zoo, theatre, museums and that famed Cromer crab (buy in the town or catch your own off the pier). If you’re angling for other fishy treats, try fishing for bass off the pier or taking a boat out to sea to land some cod. Two long-distance walking routes finish in Cromer: the Norfolk Coast Path which runs 45 miles from here to Hunstanton and the Weavers’ Way, a 56-mile route going to Great Yarmouth. Wildlife including seabirds and seals can be spotted from many places along the coast, with seal-spotting boat trips available from Blakeney (half an hour's drive). The kids should enjoy days out to places like Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and the award-winning adventure park BeWILDerwood (both half an hour). Meanwhile, grown-up activity in the area includes exploring Norfolk’s many history and heritage sites: roam around the rhododendrons at Sheringham Park (15 minutes), check out the royal retreat of Sandringham (an hour) or get lost wandering around the Holkham estate (an hour) with beaches, nature reserve, woodland play area and outdoor theatre.
