Els visitants valoren aquest càmping pel seu entorn natural i tranquil amb vistes boniques i una gran sensació de llibertat. L'amfitriona, Libby, és destacada per la seva amabilitat i ajuda. No signage so by the time I had found the site it was too late (had a train to catch). Site entrance was unappealing and unwelcoming.

Del gerent: Hi David, Im sorry you had that experience and sad that you had to besmirch my beautiful page of reviews when you didnt even stay, but I guess it had to happen at some point. To address your points Yes it can be quite bleak and grim here during winter, its rural England. Every booking gets sent a welcome pack with explicit directions and tel to call. You didnt use it. The scruffy entrance is for the people who can see the magic hidden behind it. 😁

Em va agradar The view, and accessibility, This campsite has the off grid feel but is only 5 minutes away from a well stocked village shop. The owner Libby is lovely and just wants to share her land and allow people to enjoy fresh air and space. I went for one night with my son and we had a lovely time. The toilets are clean and well maintained but we didn’t try the shower. I know she is trying to sort the leaky water pipe but we had no issues washing up. She even said we can book for a day trip and it’s dog friendly It is quite hard to find a nice place to do a family BBQ or just allow kids to roam free or kick a ball around but this is our go to place now.

Em va agradar We arrived and were the only people there. The campsite was very relaxed and whilst not the most level of fields, we found a suitable pitch (using wedges for the campervan). The campsite owner gave us plenty of time to set up an get the BBQ out before walking over to welcome us and tell us how to turn on the hot water for the shower. Lovely lady to chat to, and definitely 'feels' camping, rather than just owning a campsite. Only one other camper turned up during our visit, a chilly October weekend, and me, the boy and the dog really enjoyed the space. BBQ, campfire, fresh air, rabbits and lots of room, we'll be visiting again sometime.
No em va agradar If I had to be picky, the campsite has two minor country roads on two of its sides, but I heard no traffic at night or early morning.

Overall the campsite was in a great location for walks and pubs.

Em va agradar The freedom of picking our own space and the campsite felt like the closest thing possible to wild camping. Libby was also very welcoming and friendly upon arrival.
No em va agradar Nothing to pick up on, the camping field was basic but it's what we were after so not really a negative for us.

Em va agradar Lobby was very friendly. Loved the space.compost loos were immaculate. The shower was ok.
