Basic, no-frills campsite loved for its peace, big pitches & pretty countryside. Libby the owner's a gem - friendly, helpful, knows the area. Toilets and shower are clean for a back-to-basics stay. Warmer water and better shower floor are in the works for next season. Perfect for a quiet break, stargazing and spotting critters.

Liked Beautiful site, nicely out of the way but less than a mile from amenities. The lady who runs the site is extremely courteous and helpful. The Narrowboat Inn on the A5 is walkable (or a very short drive) it has a great beer garden with views and walks on Grand Union canal. Hope to be back there next year!!
Disliked Nothing to dislike for me, but bear in mind it's a rustic site so showers/toilets are basic (but are kept very clean). Only disliked that due to personal circumstances I couldn't stay longer!!!

Liked Everything! Yes this site is basic, but they're my fave places and this one is definitely the best basic site I have been to so far. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, I felt so safe camping solo here. Plenty to do nearby, lots to explore, and so much wildlife around you. I loved it so much I extended my stay, and will definitely be back.

It was just what I needed for a one-night getaway - quiet and simple.
Compost toilets are clean.
