Well, now, this is an excellent little place. Small, friendly and family-run, South Farm Caravan Park is a touring site set deep in the Lincolnshire countryside, a five-minute drive from colourful Sutton on Sea, 10 minutes from Mablethorpe and 25 minutes from Skegness. Families, couples and solo travellers are all welcome here, and dogs would likely give the farm an approving woof too: many walks are nearby along the countryside lanes and fields, and the walks – and bike rides – of the Lincolnshire Wolds are very close by. The closest beach, Huttoft or Moggs Eye, has miles of dog-friendly sands for the pooch to let loose. If you think the kids would like to canter, riding lessons and a pony club are at the equestrian centre next door to the farm. Facilities at the farm include clean toilets and showers (these are based away from the pitches and require a walk) and a washing-up area. There's a small tea room (open every day during the school holidays only) and a games room.

  • La sala de jocs està oberta entre el 01/03 i el 31/10.

Vehicles

  • No s'admeten vehicles comercials (vehicles utilitzats amb motiu de feina o per transportar mercaderies o passatgers) ni vehicles amb propaganda al càmping.
  • Rental accommodation: Electricity is metered on site at £0.25 per kWh via a coin-operated meter in place. The meters accept £1 and £2 coins only. Guests with touring vehicles will be asked to use their own toilet and shower facilities. The toilet/shower facilities are a few minutes' walk from the camping area, so may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. A charge of £0.50 per 5 minutes applies for use of the shower. Please note that renovation works are currently taking place on site, but the pitches and facilities are not affected. The café is open daily from 9.30am to 7pm.

Em va agradar We had a lovely stay at south farm caravan park, everyone was very welcoming and happy to help. We didn’t have electric due to forgetting the power lead the owners kindly made a bottle of boiled water for our baby’s bottle. In the morning whilst trying to eat breakfast in the cafe our daughter started crying the lady working offered to hold her so both me and my partner could eat together. Honestly can’t recommend enough everyone went above and beyond to make our stay so great. Also toilets and showers nice and clean

Em va agradar Friendly owners/staff. Very clean toilets/showers. Close to beach (walk over fields or short drive to Sutton).

No em va agradar Close to very busy road. We stayed in a pod which were positioned in a small field closest to the road. The main campsite is further away so I should think road noise is much less.

Em va agradar Lovely area and great walks with the dog, close to the beach for those beach days. Plenty of play areas for the kids/grandkids including bouncy castles next to the cafe. Very nice hosts and good food. Quiet in the evenings and surrounded by open fields.

No em va agradar Nothing apart from the weather could have been better over the August bank holiday weekend…..

Em va agradar Super helpful owners. We had two pitches next to each other for a family on 9, We arrived realising we had forgotten one of our airbeds. They quickly helped us out with one to borrow
The pitches were nice and flat. The showers and toilets spotless clean and a good inside washing up area, the kids really enjoyed the games room playing pool and also the inflatables.
Upon packing up one of the car's batteries were flat. We asked the owners if they had jump leads and they came straight to up help out and start the car.

Em va agradar Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely little site. Toilets were extremely clean. Field and dog walking path. Would definitely return!

No em va agradar Got burger and chips from the cafe which was expensive for what we got. Ice creams were reasonably priced although they didn’t really taste how I remember Applebys.

Em va agradar Great location to explore the area. Son enjoyed the bouncy castles and meeting new friends. Facilities clean and tidy. Staff/owners super friendly and helpful. Lovely walk over fields to the beach. Site nice and peaceful at night, great night skies to look at.

No em va agradar Playground equipment a bit tired and wobbly, long walk to toilet in night (but mentioned on description) take a portable toilet if you can! Son enjoyed the bouncy castles but he did come off them filthy every time and he complained they were wet, noticed they aren't covered overnight.

Em va agradar Great Park. Good food available in cafe at reasonable prices. Pitches well sized and spaced. Tent area has a play area for kids, full of character.
Bouncy castles/inflatables are a good touch to keep little ones busy.
Short drive from soft sandy beaches
Very dog friendly (on lead)

No em va agradar Only complaint is massive walk to toilets etc. A small shower block / toilets on the bottom would be a massive benefit

Em va agradar Been here a few times now ..great site for dogs as 15min walk to dog friendly beach..shower ,toilets clean and monitored, games room,washing facilities all available at a cost ..pitch spaces are ample and price is very good..bouncy castles and kids play park

No em va agradar No dislikes...but i believe the park is getting more popular due to the summer months and this in turn is putting strain on services such as toilets and showers..i did see facilities needing to be plumbed in so they are aware of the issues. The only other suggestion would be to try and locate another waste bin/Elsan point around halfway as its a trek when you are around the park area

As you drive in you will see a white conservatory in front of you. This is the on-site café. Please park in front of the garages and report to the café.

This is a great spot for family and beach holidays, with both Sutton on Sea and Huttoft beaches close by for colourful beach huts at the first and a peaceful, relaxing vibe at the second. Skegness is an easy drive along the coast, and Mablethorpe and Ingoldmells are also easily accessible to the north and south. Among the many other activities near the farm are the ambles and pedals of the Lincolnshire Wolds or taking day trips to Lincolnshire's small market towns like Alford, where there's also a war museum and a theatre. Bargain hunters should also get along to one of Lincolnshire's many car boot sales, at Ingoldmells, Skegness and Mablethorpe on the coast and inland at Louth, Horncastle, Gainsborough and Hornbeach.
