Although it's deep in the countryside of rural Herefordshire, Woodside Country Park is well-placed for all sorts of activities. It's just a 10-minute drive from Ledbury and the outskirts of the Malvern Hills National Landscape, and nice and close to the M50 for trips further afield. There's lots of country-themed stuff to do on site and all around too: this family-run park has coarse fishing and wild swimming on site, gentle walks, wildlife spotting and birdwatching – and all in 28 acres of prettily landscaped grounds and a conservation area designed to encourage wildflowers and wildlife. A fairy door trail leads around the park, a favourite for the kids. On top of that, there's a lovely lakeside woodfired sauna available for private hire or public sessions. Take a 15-minute walk along the Herefordshire Trail to reach a nearby winery and vineyard with over 750 years of history, where there are guided tours and tastings and the choice to do a self-guided tour. Guest facilities at Woodside Country Park include three shower and toilet blocks (including an accessible toilet and shower room in one field), washing-up facilities and a launderette.

Em va agradar Great location. The showers and toilets were well maintained, with hot and cold water.
The lake was wonderful to cool off in and the fishing area was so lovely. Could have stayed longer.

Em va agradar Loved our stay at Woodside Country Park. The pitch size was perfect. Fishing Lake was idyllic. My son caught a fish and had a few bites and saw other anglers catch so well stocked. Used the shared fridges which was handy and no items were taken so honest people camping. People respected the site rules on noise so apart from a snorer or a dog parking it was peaceful. The toilets and showers were very clean. The washing up stations were always available with washing up liquid and hot water. The swimming lake looked lovely but the weather wasn't warm enough so didn't swim. The host was very helpful and friendly.

No em va agradar Maybe a bit more organisation in shop with a few more essential items. More availability for sauna in the week. The turning into campsite a bit of a blindspot and car came around quickly when we were walking out so a near miss. As you have to cross the road to get to fishing Lake or reception maybe some road safety signage needed.

Em va agradar We booked last minute. We had such a lush 2 days with our 3 children. The bonus was swimming in the lake with the fish 🥰 also the clean facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a lovely family friendly site. Definitely recommend, we will be back next year 🥰

Em va agradar We loved the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. All of the staff were working constantly to help us have a great stay. The setting, especially the lake, is beautiful and was ideal for our boys to play in. We had an amazing time paddleboarding and the sense of community across the site was wonderful. We felt really looked after and part of the family and we cannot wait to come back!

Em va agradar Staff were really friendly. Beautiful location, clean facilities.

No em va agradar Got a bit busy so had to queue to use toilet and shower facilities. Showers are a bit temperamental, sometimes the water wouldn’t come through halfway through a shower 😂 Next to our location near the toilet block, the house next door were noisy from 7am with kids playing and a dog barking. Woke us up two days in a row.

Em va agradar The staff are really lovely, the site is well kept and has lots of flattish pitches. The wild swimming lake is a great experience and do welcome in a hot day! My boys loved feeding the huge carp in there too. The fishing lakes are beautiful to wander round and amazing if you like fishing and if there’s a floating sound bath on when you’re there, I can highly recommend.
