喜欢 We've stayed here a few times now, usually during the week when it's a bit quieter. Weekends are busier but we find people still respectful and it's still a quiet site. Laundry (paid) 1 washer and dryer available. Separate shower blocks for men and women. Only had to wait a few mins once for a shower, it was just bad timing because when I came out all 4 women's showers we're available. Spacious gravel pitches with plenty of grass around. Water and electric on pitch. Plenty of bins, drive over waste water drop and chemical disposal. Walking distance to a bus stop to get you into York. Taxis are really cheap into the city too. Communication is good beforehand and throughout Christine has greeted us the last couple of times and is friendly. We'll be staying again when in the area.

喜欢 Mixed feelings with this site. Quiet location the majority of time, a bit of road noise on Sunday day with bikes and fast cars but not overnight or on the Monday/Tuesday therefore slept well. Pretty surroundings. Large pitch. Water on pitch and electricity if required. Warm shower Picnic benches I can see from previous reviews that some things have been resolved such as the step, cut grass and clothes hook, the toilets and shower were clean enough for being in a field, but other issues still remain see below.

不喜欢 Didn't see anyone associated with the site, no access to information room. No toilet paper in the toilets Bins overflowing No instructions received after booking or throughout stay (just standard pitchup email). There is a sign on the post on the pitch and in the toilets showing how to pay, which is straightforward. I understand this is a small site and has extra facilities than required, however the facilities are advertised as included in the price so are expected. We were aware of the extra cost for electricity that required coins, we were fine with that.

喜欢 This is our second time here as it's local for visiting family and friends in the area. It's a quiet site but with easy access to the motorway. Pitches are decent size and most now have electric (extra charge after 10kw) and drinking water on the pitch. Showers and toilets are good and were always available when needed. The host is responsive to calls and messages and is seen regularly around the site.

不喜欢 Not a dislike, just a note, this site is being upgraded so there's some areas that don't look the best but there is very minimal noise during the day and none at night. It'll be beautiful when it's all done. The area surrounding the site is all fields so just look at that instead for now.

喜欢 This site is lovely. All pitches are spacious . We had room for our motorhome and a car. Electricity and water were on the pitch. The showers were one of the best, temperature could be adjusted and they weren't push buttons. The shower rooms were always clean. Only had to wait once for a few mins over a 4 night stay for a shower. The site is well maintained but also feels like you're in the middle of nature. I enjoyed wanders around the lake onsite. The owners are friendly and helpful. WiFi on site was good for general browsing, social media and messaging. The little honesty shop was useful and decent value for the ease of it being onsite. Woodhall Spa, only 10-15 min drive away was lovely to wander around . We also nipped to Coningsby early evening (again 10-15 min drive away) and managed to see 3 of the euro fighters come in to land. Huttoft Beach was around 40 minutes drive away. This was a lovely sandy beach with easy access into the sea.

喜欢 Great communication throughout. Hosts were lovely, friendly and flexible with pitches due to it being quieter. Nice to have electric and water on the pitch. The motorhome waste water drop is easy to use. The shower rooms were always available with plenty of hot water. Lovely and peaceful site. We have stayed once before, it was a lot busier last time but still no issues with any of the facilities. We used the laundry which is fairly priced. If doing the quick washes you can get 2 washes (around 40 min washes )done for the minimum £2 spend. We used the bus to get into York near the local pub (10-15 min walk), does only run every couple of hours. Got a taxi back which was cheap enough . If there's a few of you, taxi would be cheaper.

喜欢 We have stayed a second time and all as good as the first time. It was quiet on the site at this time of year. The toilets and showers were nice. The pre arrival information and app are great. Would definitely stay again.

喜欢 Great location as heading North to Scotland. Easy to find and good pre arrival info given. The site is as described. Great value for money as a stopover. Nice to see the horses, pigs and chickens. Bought some eggs through the honesty box.

不喜欢 There is road noise as described but that's expected and didn't prevent sleep.

喜欢 Good location, quiet but with easy access to motorway. Decent size pitch. Car allowed on site. Showers were good temperature. There was enough showers and toilets whilst we were there. Never had to wait.

不喜欢 Not the cheapest per night and paying extra top up in electricity.

喜欢 Peaceful location Generous size of pitch. Nice grass area as well as hardstanding. Water and Electric available on pitch Not far to toilets and showers. All the facilities were clean. Easy to access with motorhome Good communication Family could visit during day Easy to get into York. We used a taxi was only £7 in but as coming back later in the evening was £13, but still £20 return for 2 people is not bad. There are buses, and park and ride is close by.

喜欢 Good value site. Walkable down the canal to the village. Nice surroundings. Close to motorway junction. Friendly owners and wardens. Able to use showers and toilets when needed. Good size pitches.

喜欢 Well laid out with everyone around the edges of the field. Everyone respected the rules of the site. Friendly host. Facilities kept clean. Location was good for accessing public transport to local towns/cities but on the outskirts so it was quiet.
