喜欢 Lovely location surrounded by Mountain View’s, friendly welcoming staff very clean toilets, outside benches and light posts dotted around. we stayed near the river enjoyed this experience had a lovely time even with rain just before we arrived.

喜欢 Friendly welcome, comfortable pitch, clean facilities.
Picnic table and kettle in the washing up room were a great addition
Very close to cycle route 4 which was great for cycle tourists though some signs from the path would have been helpful.

不喜欢 Grass cuttings which hadn’t been collected
Could do with some more hooks in the showers to hang clothes and towel.

喜欢 Lovely quiet site with great amenities. Clean and well maintained. Lovely and flat pitches. Great washing up facilities with any extras you may have forgotten. Books available for swapping and washing machine available. Back to basics…no clubhouse or amusement or parks. Our children could be children!

不喜欢 Water in the showers was very very hot. Family shower was great but when having my own shower in individual cubicle it was almost burning my skin!

There is a sign in the shower room asking to let us know if there is something wrong.

each pitch gives you plenty of space.
very secure access with key code.
Location is superb, the gate way to the valleys of Wales.

喜欢 The camping is a big field with large pitches. The camping owner was very gentle . There is a little kitchen what can be used . And books you can borrow. I liked the surrounded nature, the sheeps in the other fields and the relaxed atmosphere.

喜欢 Good facilities, friendly owners and wonderful views. Overall this is a pretty good campsite, but there was a downers…

不喜欢 …whilst the size of each pitch was large enough, there were absolutely no breaks, either at the rear or side to side. With many of the tent campers filling their pith to the boundary, the overall feeling was cramped.

Your local section of the Celtic Trail is National Cycle Network Route 4, which passes 300 metres from the park on its lengthy route from London to Fishguard, and taking in the eastern section of the Celtic Trail, from Swansea to Chepstow, Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye. Exploring by foot, it's a mile and a half from the farm to join the Taff Ely Ridgeway Walk through the Ely valley and Taff Vale, starting near Glynogwr and making its way through Llantrisant forest, Llantrisant and Garth Hill – look out from here for splendid views over Cardiff and the Taff valley. The walk then snakes along to Caerphilly Common to finish up among more spectacular scenery from Caerphilly mountain. Going coastwards, Porthcawl is 15 miles or about 25 minutes' drive away for access to sands, surf schools and the Welsh Coast Path, on its huge 870-mile run from Chepstow to Queensferry. Or head to Bridgend to take the interactive Nature Keeper Trail, looking out for 14 digital sculptures highlighting the nature and landscape of this pretty part of Wales.
