喜欢 location close to Hay, staff friendliness, pop up food trucks, proximity of river for wild swimming and mountains for walks, visible stars, fire and dog friendliness

不喜欢 showers not working properly, loo roll often out, 9pm quiet was not enforced!

喜欢 Great location, friendly staff and it’s a really nice pitch.

不喜欢 The toilets and showers aren’t good. They often don’t have toilet roll. They’re dirty and one toilet didn’t even have a seat.

Probably the worst toiletries / showers I’ve seen in a camp site.

喜欢 Friendly staff couldn't be more helpful, excellent and safe access to the river, decent pitch size and lovely cafe and bar on-site

不喜欢 No dump point on site, toilets are a little dated and males did become blocked with no flush during stay.

Close to the river.

不喜欢 Facilities were very basic and not well maintained.
Pitches were patchy grass / dirt with quite a few burnt bits where fires had been made.

喜欢 Lovely location-river edge-great for morning/evening walks.
Very busy but still quiet in the evening. Great facilities for snacks, cake, coffee etc

喜欢 I loved the vibe of this campsite. It’s small but had lovely chilled atmosphere. The girls looking after the place were genuinely lovely and very helpful. On site ice cream and good coffee too! And right next to river with beach you can swim from.

不喜欢 Agree with other reviews about shower and toilet facilities under resourced for number of campers; plumbing of showers seemed to not be coping well, and toilets were frequently dirty. A sign showing the shower/toilet block to left of cafe would go a long way as I think many people didn’t know it was there!

喜欢 Close to the river for water sports and walks. Easy access to Hay or Brecon. Relaxed site with cafe, bar and visiting food truck. Family friendly and lots of facilities

不喜欢 The toilets and showers felt dirty with no cleaning records. Often no toilet paper and overflowing bins. As it is summer holidays, cleanliness should be a priority.

Showers had no changing cubicles for clothes/bags to be stored whilst showering.

These facilities could do with a revamp and a few changes to make them more desirable for users

喜欢 Lovely campsite with really helpful staff. A very short walk to the river beach which is great for paddle boarding and a morning swim.

不喜欢 The toilets weren't the best.
