The electric tripped out, called reception at 4pm, said they would send someone around, called again at 7pm, couldn’t find the fault, waited until 9am next morning for someone to re set the main box.

喜欢 Nice spacious pitch, fully serviced so everything was to hand, staff were super helpful and friendly, we arrived late (7pm after reception shut) but after a brief phone call with reception they sent us over a detailed map of the site, the number for the night warden and clear instructions for when we arrived and gave us a quick call in the morning to make sure everything was in order

喜欢 We booked for one night & were close to amenities (which were good, except they were the awful push button showers which are quite a challenge when you're not used to them) then after a day out decided to come back for another night. As a Sunday night there was only one other van in our area. The receptionist put us back in our original spot but neglected to mention they'd closed the amenities nearby (I understand, it was quiet, no need to dirty them for a couple of people) so quite the hike to the other amenities which was a pain. It wasn't until much later that we'd made this discovery and didn't want to bother anyone out of hours. Probably should have just moved but didn't know if latecomers might be booked into spots. Overall was quite good. Handy location to visit surrounding areas. Price was much cheaper than many other places
不喜欢 Not putting us in the area where amenities were closed. Different showers. I had to push the thing every 10 seconds and the water kept going back to cold. There's probably a trick to it but I haven't worked it out. In another place I paid 20p for the shower but it ran for several minutes and was perfect. I'd happily pay for a good shower

不喜欢 On the Saturday evening some people in the pods were making a racquet until past 1 in the morning. Took away from the value of the campsite for me but it's always the way. The few spoil it for the many.

喜欢 The fishing was absolutely amazing the walk to the Cove was lovely. Toilets was kept clean. went to empty my toilet in the Elson tip. It was disgusting. I wouldn’t thought anybody looked at it for a very long time.
不喜欢 The pitches was all very close, not a lot of room, especially if you had children it would’ve been a little dangerous
