Set in the stunning countryside seven miles from Newquay airport, Trethiggey Holiday Park is very nicely placed for whizzing between many of Cornwall's popular attractions. To start with, it's just a 10-minute drive from Newquay, and secondly, the famed rainforest biomes of the Eden Project are just half an hour's drive away. Suited to families or couples, the site is a carefully considered wildlife haven where guests are welcome to go on a species-spotting wander. There are over 4,000 shrubs and trees in its countryside setting: badgers frequently visit, foxes live in the nearby fields and you should also see kingfishers, jays, buzzards and rabbits. Nature signs are dotted around the park detailing all the critters that live and visit there. For kids, the site has an adventure playground and – with varied opening times depending upon the season – a games room with pool tables. Trethiggey Holiday Park welcomes well-behaved dogs, so you don't need to leave any furry family members back at home. Thinking of your holiday pints already? There are three splendid local pubs within walking distance of the site for delicious meals and drinks – and in fact, you don't need to walk any more than 10 to 15 minutes to reach all three.

喜欢 Everything was just perfect toilets and shower facilities really clean. Staff on site were friendly and helpful. There is not one bad thing I can say about this campsite is close to everything. Good location. Was very quiet at night.

喜欢 Excellent holiday park. Very spacious pitches. Gravel part long enough for caravan and the car. The other half of the pitch is plot of grass big enough to accommodate owning and there is still a lot of grass left for family to enjoy. Hard standing and grass serviced pitch includes electricity plus a personal fresh water tap and grey water drainage. Great division of the pitches areas which are secluded and give privacy. Close distance to facilities which are very clean and have everything what is needed. Great games/play rooms with plenty of books and movies to enjoy. Family friendly. No restrictions regarding kids playing, etc. On-site kids playground.Very friendly staff. We stayed for 7 nights on touring caravan pitch. We will be definitely coming back every year now. Thank you for a lovely holiday experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

喜欢 Nice campsite, plenty of space forage tent pitch, clean facilities good showers. Reasonable price.

不喜欢 Watch out for road noise if you have ac tent pitch near the hedge. Not the campsites fault but noticeable in a tent

喜欢 Good size pitches, really helpful staff, clean and tidy facilities. Bus stop into Newquay outside the entrance to the site, which we used a few times (Driving and parking in Newquay in the summer months, particularly in a campervan is a nightmare).

Elsewhere around Cornwall, pick your passion and set off: historians can explore the old tin mines of World Heritage Site St Agnes or Cornwall's many historic and National Trust houses. Marine enthusiasts should have a look at Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, and arty types can make their way to the galleries and artistic atmosphere of lovely St Ives.
