不喜欢: Composting toilets very cramped and needs completely refurbished / rebuilt. Washing facilities are a disgrace, I know it wild camping but if its open to the public there still needs to be some privacy

喜欢: Last minute booking on a stormy weekend. Met up with the owner as he was leaving site and was very helpful and kindly offered extra shelter if needed. Good quiet spot - all I needed for a wild camping experience. Toilets well maintained. The site is sloped so I think there are only a few places where a good pitch is possible. However no issues for me as there was only one other camper! Highly recommended, as long as you know what you’re doing/ aware it’s more leaning to the wild camping crowd. Will be booking again when in the IOW.

喜欢: It was such an amazing site, the scene were so beautiful. At the far side of the field is a woodland with a lake and it was so fun to explore. The pigs that were at the top of the field were so adorable and the owner gave us food to feed them. We were the only people camping so we had the whole site to ourselves and honestly it was so perfect. The facilities were minimal but it’s proper camping so what was expected.

不喜欢: There’s limited spaces around the field that isn’t sloped and where it is flat, the ground is bumpy so make sure to bring something soft to sleep on. We slept on the ground but it’s was absolutely fine for us. The toilet situation was not as bad as we were expecting. There were two toilets in little sheds. If you don’t like proper camping especially when it comes to toilets potentially look elsewhere but honestly for the 7 of us it was not bad at all.

喜欢: Really peaceful, secluded and welcoming site - they even left us a couple of plastic chairs undercover when it rained. The compost toilets were kept really clean and there’s a sink for washing up.

不喜欢: There wasn’t a shower on site which was listed on Pitch up.

喜欢: Simple done well. Natural site, lovely location. Really pleasant and present owner.

不喜欢: No showers on site.

喜欢: The hosts were really welcoming and generous. They helped us out with any issues we had, even going as far to give us a lift into town. Toilets were easy to use and well-kept. Ground was level and relatively soft as well. Would absolutely come back here.

喜欢: Easy bike ride to and from Isle of Wight festival, requires very good flashing bike lights due to darkness on route back.

不喜欢: If you want luxury camping then this site isn’t for you. Toilets are clean and cleaned regular but if you want a modern functioning loo then you might want to pass on this time.

喜欢: Everything! Amazing hosts, put us right up the top out the way of other families. My daughter loved the compost toilets!
