喜欢 Great family vibe, can park car next to tent, toilets very clean, large bell tent was great

不喜欢 Could do with more toilets and showers. Toilets very busy at times and only 1 male and 1 female shower

喜欢 The facilities were very good. The kitchen area, toilets, etc., everything was very clean.

不喜欢 The ground wasn't very flat for tent pitchers. It was a sloping dirt floor with large holes.
The ground at the first entrance is suitable for tents, but there isn't much tent space there.

Car broke down upon leaving campsite (faulty starting motor). After informing the owners of the rather unfortunate circumstance, the owners went completely out there way to help me, initially it was thought that the battery had died, and the owners helped jump-start the car, unfortunately this did not fix the problem. I called RAC who informed me there would be a 4hour wait 😬. The owners however managed to hook me up with there own mechanic, who got the car running so I was able to return home. Massive thanks to the owners, who even managed to sort me out for some fuel, incredibly helpful, I was very fortunate, so many many thanks, and will certainly stay again, next time I'm in the area!!!

喜欢 Fantastic camp site with really big pitches. Stayed 2 nights and Liz the lady in charge can’t do enough for you. Fire pit, wind breaker and marshmallows all at great prices. Close to Runswick Bay and a lovely little pub close by in Leaholme right on the river.
Kids had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

不喜欢 Nothing can be done about it but the wasps are pests so take repellent or spray.
Other than that it’s fantastic.

喜欢 We stayed in the bell tent 3... I was lovely, very spacious. So, it's like camping, but without bringing your own tent .. ( tent pitches are also available).

Chickens roaming around, which was pretty funny and entertaining.lol

Liz, the owner, greeted us and brought us our logs and fire pit. £13 for pit and logs. You could also, hire wind breakers if you needed to.

Nice vending machine, selling pies and snacks as well as drinks , a nice coffee machine ( card only i think) and fresh farm eggs.

The location is about 15 minutes drive fron Whitby ...

There didn't seem to be any pubs or anything in walking distance, but ,plenty of walks and scenery about.

Lovely , vfm camping site.

We hope to return again ....

喜欢 Quiet camp site with clean facilities, friendly and helpful host and fab vending facilities including hot drinks, fresh eggs and milkshakes. Can hire fire pit very reasonably priced and buy logs, marshmallows etc. on site. Our first camping experience and have already booked again thanks to this gem of a place.

喜欢 Lots of space. Good size pitches. Good grass for pitching tents. Good showers. Good views nice walk to Danby Beacon from campsite. Saw a barn owl from our tent. Chickens are on site to entertain. Vending machines mean that you can buy a hot coffee or milk. Even though site was full as peak season, it didn’t feel overcrowded.

不喜欢 Some footpaths near the site were covered with bracken and hard to follow.

喜欢 What a nice place! Lots of room, clean facilities, very calm (except for the occasional sheep sounds). You can get cheap milk, eggs etc from the farm 24h in a vending machine. We used the site as a basis for visiting Whitby, which is only a 15mun ride away. Full recommendation!
