What customers say
Woodhill Camping gets props for roomy sites, gorgeous country views, and owner Liz's welcoming vibe. Guests loved the top-notch amenities like spotless washrooms, and the handy vending machines with fresh milk and shakes. Great spot for exploring the coast and moors, super chill. A few noted limited showers when busy, but most raved and want to come back!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked What an absolute delight of a site, well maintained superbly clean, wonderful surroundings and friendly site owners. Pitch sizes are more than ample and most things have been thought of. Fridge and freezers, milk vending machine, hot drinks and cakes in another vending machine. An absolute gem.
Disliked Toilets were very compact for us fuller figured customers lol.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Ideally situated near Whitby, very peaceful, surrounded by nature and very reasonably priced. Wash facilities were spotlessly clean if a little basic. Very friendly staff and the little vending machine shop looked very well stocked
Disliked Some of the pitches are quite steap so if your in a camper or roof tent bring your leveling blocks. Not a criticism your on the moors at the end of the day

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great, quiet site. Spacious, flat pitches. The facilities were basic but exactly as described and always clean. Never had to wait to use them. The milkshake machine was a big hit and we tried every flavour. Liz was really helpful and responsive when we had questions. We will definitely be back.

Great quiet site
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Nice large pitches, well spaced out, good level ground. The facilities are clean and just enough for the size of the site. Vending machines are handy, great fresh milk for breakfast! Great as a base for local beaches/Whitby. Will definitely be back here again.
