不喜欢 Should have separate wash cubicles in the toilet/shower blocks and a path way from each pitch for wheel chairs instead of a stoned area.

Regarding security, we do have 24-hour CCTV and other onsite measures in place to help keep the site safe and secure. Our aim is to maintain a relaxed atmosphere while ensuring guests feel protected throughout their stay.

喜欢 Very nice clean, tidy site. ( including toilet and showrs) Good location for bus trip to York. And "The Bosun" does a great Sunday lunch.

不喜欢 Lack of anybody to seek additional information.Want a bus time? Send an email.
Discuss showers that are too hot..send an email.
The cost of a pitch might suggest an open office that rather than one open occasionally.
But never when you go and check!
And then the Ferry does not run Tuesdays end September...no.good if you have booked Sunday lunch.

As a small site, we don’t staff the office full-time, but we do provide a dedicated phone number for guests and have team members based nearby who are always available to help with enquiries. We’re working on making that clearer so guests know how to reach us during their stay.
Regarding the Riverbus, it’s operated by our partner, City Cruises, and runs to and from our site on weekends throughout the summer, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays during school holidays.

喜欢 Beautiful site, next to the river and a 10 min walk to the village. Nothing to dislike. Restaurant shut when we visit but the wee coffee shop served lunch and snacks. Sitting in the dombed pod next to the river was lovely. Great pitch size, clean facilities.

Staff are always on site or nearby, and we’re always reviewing signage and visibility to help guests feel more supported. As for the public path, we understand it’s not ideal for everyone. It’s part of the local right of way network, but we’ll continue to monitor how it affects guest experience.

喜欢 Really nice site and a great location, not sure where the checkin time restriction comes in, I asked at the cafe ands told I didnt need to check in as I already knew the pitch etc so just park up and enjoy. We caught the bus into York and thats a 10 min walk to the stop with a 30 min trip into the middle of town but a great and easy way to see York. Went in time for the food festival which is great and taking the bus meant sampling the food and drink in the tents was worry free.

Shower block clean and well looked after, really nice showers.

不喜欢 We couldnt seem to get the wifi to work but not a major issue so didnt ask or raise it. Very minor in the scheme of things and Im sure it could have been sorted if we had bothered.

喜欢 Lovely site by the river. Choice of pitches which are mostly level. To see a plan of the pitches look at the owner own website. Wonderful new toilet and shower block with proper showers!
Restaurant on site which looked nice, but we didn't visit this time.
