Sunnyside Campsite

喜欢 There were flowers in the toilet! I fell in love with the shower room, which was in an old outbuilding - just gorgeous!! There was a kettle we could use, and tea and coffee, and a honesty box for other goodies. The site was beautiful and the level pitches were really generous. There was plenty of hot water for washing up and in the toilets. There was even a trampoline and table tennis table (I lost), a rope swing and other things for kids. Sally was very welcoming. We had a fabulous stay.

喜欢 Lovely atmosphere, quiet and peaceful, good amenities. The honesty shop was fun as well as useful and the shower room was really nice, even if the shower was a little temperamental.

喜欢 Loved the natural feel of the site with the wild flower meadow in the centre. Very quiet and peaceful. Also nice to have use of kettle and tea and coffee..... and an honesty shop.

不喜欢 Shower could be better, but the water was hot.

喜欢 I can not overstate how much I loved Sunnyside Campsite, it was so charming and relaxing with wonderful shady spots to relax in the very hot weather and plenty of fun for the children. They are clear about the limited shower and toilet facilities when you book, which might be worth thinking about if it's a dealbreaker for you but it was fine for us and a short stay. Very friendly and helpful owners and fellow campers. I can't wait to go back.

喜欢 Love this site, my second visit and can't wait to come back as it is just so chilled and relaxed. Sally and her husband are extremely accommodating and friendly.
Shower is a bit of an adventure, did go incredibly hot at on point but came out feeling fresh so all good.

Unfortunately the water pressure here is very low. The shower can struggle at busy times.

If future guests are needing lots of power showers, please beware! We can only offer very simple, back to basic facilities.

喜欢 The lovely location, the meadow in the middle of the field, that it's all flat and super quiet except for birdsong. Lovely hosts and facilities and a great location.

不喜欢 Would have liked a second shower and more consistent shower pressure, but the hosts tried to help campers avoid busy times with advice

Our facilities are limited and this is a back to basic site. Unfortunately it is unviable to add extra showers or loos.

We try to make the best of what we have.. and we sell solar showers in the store and there’s plenty of hot water & buckets available too!

As one guest kindly wrote “this place is about wildflowers not power showers”
