There's a multi-sports pitch on site for family games and over a mile and half of free river fishing for those who want to spend a peaceful afternoon on the river banks. A daily river taxi service also runs from Stratford Parks Holiday Park to Stratford-upon-Avon, where there are Shakespeare attractions and lots of places to eat or shop. 喜欢 Location location! Plot by the river.
Nice guy fitted us in as we were one night. Really helpful staff and a nice 30 min walk into Stratford.

不喜欢 I’m afraid the toilet shower block is dated but clean. I’m currently in France at a site (by the Seine) at a third of the price per night . £52 per night is just too much .

喜欢 Lovely staff, very clean site, good and clean toilets and showers. The boat ride from the campsite into Stratford upon Avon.

不喜欢 The coffee in the bar, it was terrible

Clean and tidy
Bit more tlc needed in the washroom/ toilets of the ladies

不喜欢 Don't like the fact on pitch up they disallow certain breeds of dogs but you can contact direct and book and most breeds of dog are excepted

喜欢 Staff were really friendly and helpful. Good facilities for keeping children entertained. The club house was modern and welcoming, drinks were reasonably priced. We only watched one of the entertainment acts over the weekend, but they were enjoyable.
We liked using the water taxi into Stratford.

不喜欢 The pitches were open with no screening, which made it feel like a rally field, with no personality. There was no.option of a hardstanding pitch, all are grass. We went on a wet BH weekend, when hardstanding would have kept the caravan and awning much cleaner.

喜欢 Friendly warm welcome by staff on arrival, clean toilet and shower facilities, nice tidy pitch and shown to pitch with helpful advice about the services available. Lovely bar and restaurant areas with friendly staff, food was nice. Enjoyed the river taxi . This is a really lovely site, we really enjoyed our stay here.

喜欢 Location, flat open field. Cleanliness. Warm welcome. Great bar and restaurant with lovely views.

不喜欢 Not exactly a dislike but the showers were quite dated. Perfectly functional and plenty of them too.

Unfortunately the lift to the bar area was not functioning due to damage to the door.

喜欢 Location is great with a short walk into the town along a pathed road. The water taxi (£3pp one way) was a great alternative way to get into town. There’s an excellent spa shop stocked with a wide range of reasonably priced local produce a short walk from the site (5 mins). Good service point for campervans/motorhomes. The staff were friendly and helpful.

不喜欢 The shower and toilet facilities would benefit from a refurbishment and were sometimes unclean.

For a change from the river taxi, guests can stroll into Stratford-upon-Avon to take in a play from the Royal Shakespeare Company, have a flutter at the races, or visit the many Shakespeare sights dotted around the city. There’s also excellent retail therapy to be had here, as well as in the elegant surrounding towns of Cheltenham, Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. 
Sporty types will find golf courses, swimming pools and many other facilities nearby, and of course there are plenty of good walking opportunities along the river and out into the lovely Warwickshire countryside. Further along the banks of the Avon are the stately country house of Charlecote Park, and winsome Warwick Castle, which has plenty of things to do and see for all ages. Also nearby are the majestic ruins of Kenilworth Castle, where Robert Dudley and Elizabeth I used to make out; or you could follow in the footsteps of the Gunpowder Plotters of 1605 with a visit to Coughton Court. At the Ragley Hall Estate, visitors can take a tour of the Palladian mansion, go sculpture spotting in the Capability Brown parkland, or lose themselves in the 3D maze. The site is also a great base from which to explore the villages and landscapes of the Cotswolds.
