What an excellent Oxfordshire site this is for anglers. And walkers. And quiet English countryside appreciators. For friendly and well-maintained Glebe Leisure Park is in a cracking countryside location on the edges of Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire as well as Oxfordshire and has two fishing lakes on site as well as lots of trails all around. Dogs – and their owners – like this place too, as there are long walks and gravelled pathways with dog waste bins set at handy locations, and it's mighty like too that cyclists will like the gentle and short pedal along to local town Bicester... Any amenities you might need are sorted here, such as a loo and shower block with info room about the surrounding area, a toilet and shower facilities for disabled guests, a chemical disposal point, drinking water outlets and a car park.

喜欢 Really beautiful rural setting, we enjoyed our view of the stars each night and hearing a local owl. The showers were clean and hot, and check in was straightforward

不喜欢 It would be great if they hired out fire pits and sold wood as fuel so we didn’t have to bring our own.

喜欢 It was absolutely amazing place to recharge battery from busy life. The pots absolutny sweet and comfortable. Toilets and showers very nice. I love high pressure in the shower and nice big shower head ☺️
Lovely modern shower room.

喜欢 Excellent warm reception by staff on duty .
Nice hot showers but a tad on the small side tearing keeping your clothes dry when changing into them .
Lovely well tended grounds.
2 beautiful lakes to walk around or picnic by .
Nice large pitches for caravans &awnings or campervans and drive away awnings .
The butchers Arms pub well worth avisit good food and a friendly atmosphere 👌

Be aware there isn't a shop on site but they do sell bread and milk and ice lollies .also a coffee machine available in the reception.

The dogs loved it here and myself and my siblings
We did wish we did more days

不喜欢 Very limited hot water for a shower, it was cold before 7am

Needs more community fire pits and a replacement of the current one as it’s broken.

Eco pod was quiet small for being advertised to have 4 in and was cold at night but too hot in the day .

喜欢 Great location well maintained site!

不喜欢 Very difficult to book in fact impossible for the first two months of the year. We wanted to stay over Easter for three nights but had to book something else because of constantly being told to try the website next week! We did manage to stay leading up to Easter on our travels, but the booking process was poor!

喜欢 Lovely clean site with nice pitches and good facilities l.

不喜欢 We unintentionally arrived 40 minutes later than the time cut off for arrivals. Male staff member was rude. We had tried to call but got no answer he insisted he had tried calling multiple times but couldn’t show us his call register and we had no missed calls. We weren’t late intentionally our young son had been unwell on the journey on top of a car accident on the motorway.

Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés are in Glebe Leisure's local town of Bicester within a couple of miles, and designer clothes and accessories in the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. Glebe is the closest site to Bicester Heritage, the first park in the UK for the tender loving restoration care of classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and planes, all on over 345 acres of an old RAF bomber station. The centre's been described as 'a historic motoring fan's idea of heaven' so do speed along there if old engines make your motor hum. Twelve miles from the site is simply smashing Blenheim Palace, given to the first Duke of Marlborough by Charlie 2 and handed down through the Churchill family to reach one Winston some decades back. You really should have a trip... Also within 12 miles are another few British institutions: the dizzying array of arty treasures at the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor; Broughton Castle at Banbury, and days out spectating fast types at Silverstone Circuit.
