What an excellent Oxfordshire site this is for anglers. And walkers. And quiet English countryside appreciators. For friendly and well-maintained Glebe Leisure Park is in a cracking countryside location on the edges of Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire as well as Oxfordshire and has two fishing lakes on site as well as lots of trails all around. Dogs – and their owners – like this place too, as there are long walks and gravelled pathways with dog waste bins set at handy locations, and it's mighty like too that cyclists will like the gentle and short pedal along to local town Bicester... Any amenities you might need are sorted here, such as a loo and shower block with info room about the surrounding area, a toilet and shower facilities for disabled guests, a chemical disposal point, drinking water outlets and a car park.

喜欢 Quiet surrounds, level pitch and a friendly welcome. Clean facilities.

不喜欢 No one on reception until 12 o'clock and no one available after 6pm.

No information leaflet letting you know facilities available and no one to ask.

Very poor internet reception and the payment Internet access did not work.

Toilet paper ran out twice.

Our pitch was parked on and no one to help.

喜欢 Good size pitches. Easy checknin and out. Lovely grounds on site to have a short walk around. Nice lake with wildlife.

不喜欢 A few of the benches around the lake had seen better day. You have to walk on road 1.5m to Fringford for the nearest pub. Nice pub though 👌

喜欢 Stayed in a pod, was clean and functional. Only equipped with a light and a heater, so need to take everything else you need. Toilets and showers clean and plenty of hot water. Site well kept and beautiful lake side walking. Made very welcome by Sophie .

喜欢 The site was amazing. A nice clean, well maintained site. The facilities were perfect, well located and clean.

I really liked the coffee machine and ice lollies in the reception.

The dog walk area was so beautiful and peaceful.

喜欢 Lovely flat pitch. Enclosed dog walk on site and also large fishing lake to walk around. People seemed to be enjoying fishing or just walking round the lake.

不喜欢 No chair or stool in shower to put clothes on and the family room shower curtain didnt keep water on the shower tray - the floor ended up soaking. Again no stool to put dry clothes on.

喜欢 The receptionist was lovely, she explained everything to us and showed us to our pod. The pod was spacious enough for the two of us. It was very peaceful in a lovely location. The toilets were spotless and as a disabled individual I was very happy with the disabled toilet which was available.

Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés are in Glebe Leisure's local town of Bicester within a couple of miles, and designer clothes and accessories in the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. Glebe is the closest site to Bicester Heritage, the first park in the UK for the tender loving restoration care of classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and planes, all on over 345 acres of an old RAF bomber station. The centre's been described as 'a historic motoring fan's idea of heaven' so do speed along there if old engines make your motor hum. Twelve miles from the site is simply smashing Blenheim Palace, given to the first Duke of Marlborough by Charlie 2 and handed down through the Churchill family to reach one Winston some decades back. You really should have a trip... Also within 12 miles are another few British institutions: the dizzying array of arty treasures at the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor; Broughton Castle at Banbury, and days out spectating fast types at Silverstone Circuit.
