The wild camping pitches at this peaceful park are less than a mile from the M1 motorway and 12 miles from central London – and three from Muggle-based antics at The Making of Harry Potter as well as seven from Wembley Stadium. (And another excellent aspect of Aldenham's location? It's a great option for Londoners seeking a nearby bolthole too.) Although it's so close to the city, Aldenham is spellbindingly rural, set on a 175-acre parkland site next to a large lake and maintaining a quiet countryside atmosphere with nature walks and animal feeding among the activities for guests. Kids can also search for Winnie in the Pooh in the park's 100 Aker Wood area. Other activities include cycle rides on woodland trails. The site's facilities include a café, playgrounds, barbecue rental and a shop selling farm produce. The amenities block has toilets, showers and disabled access.

不喜欢 Everything, No rubbish or dog waist bins throughout the site, only 3 inadequate showers, Toilets disgusting after first day, ridiculously expensive for an old field, shortage off water and wash points, nothing other than ground rent included in price, prices in general greedily high, 2 lollies and a very small flapjack £9.80. 1 night on 8 by 8mtr grass £106.00. expensive wrist bands that couldn't be used in the play area when it rains, which was all weekend, Disappointed at the removal of the original park near the farm that was free to use for all the year's it was there, only upside was it was not busy as it would have been unbearable when even half full, never again.

喜欢 Really lovely site. Had a great time at the country park. Good location. Easy to book. Lovely views.

不喜欢 Minimum toilets and showers for the amount of people . Would have liked more than a basic portaloo.

喜欢 Nice large area, not crowded

不喜欢 Not their fault but we wasn't allowed bbq, or any type of fire which was annoying but we got over it, also there are 2 streets not to far from the camping site and you can hear cars and lorries driving past, also there is an aerodrome nearby which is pretty busy so there are during the day, small planes and helicopters flying at low altitude

喜欢 helpful staff and nice walks and nice to be able to have a hot shower

不喜欢 toilets were not very clean and rubbish crate was over flowing and no hot water to do washing up with and no rubbish bins in the carpark or the nature walks

不喜欢 Only available toilets were chemical dixi toilet. The toilets did not flush which was apparent by the sometimes massive remains of previous visitors that lay bare to see.
No other facilities, no warm water for dishes and no opportunity to at least charge a phone.
