Burhope Farm Campsite

喜欢 Second stay at this lovely, chill adults only campsite. Plenty of space and views, beautiful little pond with lillies and wildlife. Shower block is heated, clean and a good size for the amount of pitches- stayed bank holiday weekend and it was never busy. WiFi is available at a charge but frankly we used it as an excuse to disconnect. Pip (proprietor) is an absolute darling and we’ll definitely be back again! Excellent fish and chips nearby and a pub for a cheeky pint whilst you wait. Hereford about half an hours drive away. Honestly couldn’t ask for more, super relaxing long weekend.

不喜欢 Not a dislike but a note, the electric hookups for the tents are shared, so bare this in mind depending on the length of your cable!

喜欢 Stunning scenic campsite, wonderful facilities, superbly clean with friendly, happy and bubbly owner and staff. Stayed on a fully serviced hardstanding pitch in our trailer tent. Electric hook up, with light and water on tap really close to pitch so no need for extra long electric wires. Loved the safety of coded/gated entrance, on a stunning working farm, waking up to beautiful scenery with a short walk to the lake on site, complete with carp, Canadian geese, grey herons and moorhens roaming around. Information for local services and shops/pubs etc on arrival and option to purchase campsite WiFi as no signal in immediate area (which was lovely for us to switch off)

喜欢 Beautiful friendly site - peaceful, so lovely looking out over the lake. Facilities are spotless, dog walking field is fab. Easy reach of Hereford and Ross on Wye

喜欢 Everything!! Absolutely lovely site.. spotless .. toilets spotless smelt lovely cleaned everyday.. beautiful fishing lake with very healthy fish.. cannot complain about anything.. Thanks to a wonderful stay Pipa and all your hard work definitely as paid off Michelle and Phil ( green and white campervan)

喜欢 This is an extremely good camping site, set in a fantastic country location on a working farm. It's probably the most relaxing site we have been to, very quiet with wonderful views. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The site is a credit to Pip the owner.

Love watching the horses and other live stock
Birds and nature everywhere
I really rate this place highly but not to much or else there won’t be any vacancies for when I come again.
Time seems to slow down here it’s so relaxing.

喜欢 A lovely site in the middle of farming country. Beautiful views and loads of walks in the area. The site is spacious and very well kept with a friendly welcome. Although you have to pay for the wifi it's minimal and the connection was good and given there is no mobile phone signal very useful to have. The little house on the lake was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable.

不喜欢 If you wanted to fish in the small lake you do have to pay,
You can have a fire pit but you have to pay.
You can use the hairdryers provided but you have to pay.
Mobile network coverage is very poor, thankfully they have good onsite WiFi… but you to pay.
It’s a cattle farm and the adjacent fields have just been sprayed days prior to our arrival, combined with the dry July weather made it into a fly infested site.

来自经理: Well, what can I say... Chris, before you left I explained to you that we had an issue with the flies that had occurred in the past week as a result of the extremely unprecedented high temperatures (on Saturday reaching as high as 36 degrees) and lack of rain. As you will have seen when booking (it is stated on the website that we are a working farm) we are in the country and as such have other working farms around us, one of which had unfortunately sprayed a field opposite the campsite which had significantly escalated the issue with the flies (as explained to you when we spoke), this is out of our control and is not the norm for us, as can be seen from all of our previous reviews.

I work very hard to maintain a good campsite and environment for people to enjoy when they come to visit (which again can be seen from our reviews). With regards to your points regarding our facilities (WiFi, fishing, fire pits & hairdryers); we clearly state that charges may apply for additional services offered (this is not uncommon and we like to think that our charges are very reasonable), may I point out that the only service you appeared to use was the WiFi, at no point did you enquire about the fishing etc so I am unsure why you feel the need to comment on these.

A final point to note - you gave us a mark for 'child friendliness', we are an adult only site so child friendliness is irrelevant.

I am saddened by the use of your words and descriptions of our campsite, a campsite that is enjoyed by many.
