喜欢: Beautiful place, very friendly, clean bell tent and areas surrounding. Food truck on site excellent so friendly and helpful. Hot tub was lovely. Toilets very close to all areas. Had a lovely stay for my birthday will definitely return.

喜欢: We just booked the one night in the bell tent here. Our stay was perfect we really enjoyed ourselves. The beds are so comfy and clean, the shower blocks and toilets are kept lovely and clean. The whole campsite had a really good happy vibe. Will definitely be rebooking for a longer visit.

喜欢: The whole site its stunning and clean! The staff are all very friendly and happy to help! I had great chats with Abo from Sams Snacks ( the on site food truck) hes a great guy! And food is gorgeous! Also love the fact the ice cream van came round!

The Pod its self was lovely spacious and clean! And the hot tub heated on arrival was amazing!

The toilet and shower block was also very clean!

Also love its a hidden gem on the outskirts of sinfin! My friend whos lived in sinfin all their life didn't even know it was there! And passes the bridge most days!

喜欢: Very nice romantic retreat. We had our own private space with a hot tub and the teepee was awesome. Had a fridge, electric and a kettle which was a huge bonus.

Definitely going again.

不喜欢: The hot tub we had wasn’t the one that bubbled up which we wasnt aware of when booking, looks like you can pay a bit extra for that but it wasn’t clear when booking. No big deal just wasn’t what we thought we were getting.

Barrow On Trent may be a peaceful spot, but if day trips are your thing you’ll likely appreciate its excellent transport links: major roads like the A50, A6 and M1 are all within easy reach. The local area's got a lot going for it, too: anglers can spend their days at nearby Robinwood Lakes (10 minutes' drive), while speed demons can zoom down to Donington Park race circuit (15 minutes) or East Midlands Aeropark (20 minutes). For more high-adrenaline adventure, head to the classic rides at Alton Towers theme park (40 minutes). For days spent at a gentler pace, head to the house and grounds at Elvaston Castle Country Park (15 minutes) or the National Trust's Calke Abbey (15 minutes). More history is on hand at Derby's Pickford House Museum (20 minutes) – swing by here to try on some Regency costumes (if you think you can pull them off). In need of some nature therapy? Head for the Peaks for walks in the spectacular valleys around Dovedale (50 minutes) or bracing hilly hikes like the Win Hill trail (about an hour and a quarter). For an unconventional stroll closer to base, pencil in a date with the Charnwood Forest alpacas (20 minutes).
