喜欢 Lovely site, peaceful, quiet. Modern toilet and shower blocks. 2 foods units on site as well as small shop

喜欢 Choice of fields, some sheltered, some with great views.
Facilities: pizza van, Greek van, shop basic but useful, good opening hours.
Very friendly, helpful owners.

不喜欢 Only one ladies toilet block, quite small for busy times with little space around sinks.

喜欢 The campsite is large so there is plenty of space to park a caravan or pitch a tent.
It is a family friendly site with well behaved dogs and children and campers are asked to respect the quiet time from 11.00pm so it is quiet at night. The owners are very friendly and helpful so it was a very good experience.

不喜欢 It is not a dislike but an area with mirrors and electric sockets would enable campers to brush teeth, blow dry their hair and apply make up more easily etc.
The showers are wet rooms only and do not have electric sockets. As the shop develops some basic equipment and an extended range of food staples would be great.

喜欢 Haddon Grove Farm has a huge space for campers and tents - five fields. Most have wonderful views over Lathkill Dale and the Peaks.
The toilet and shower blocks are newly fitted out and very clean. Taps across the site provide delicious Peak District drinking water.
On Friday and Saturday in summer season there’s two food trucks - pizza and burgers/gyros. One opens for fry ups and bacon rolls on Sat/Sun morning.
There’s a low-tech family friendly vibe - from the farmers’ persona welcome, to the two rope swings, enough space to play a little frisbee, football or cricket. On the last weekend in July it was lovely with free range kids at the start of the school holidays, then magically went quite silent around 10.30. There’s an 11pm quiet time.

Recommended for walkers, family groups and couples like ourselves.

不喜欢 It can be a 2-3 min walk to the toilets. So. It suitable for people with mobility issues (or if you’re lazy!)

喜欢 It’s a great site, has absolutely beautiful views and a lot of choice as to where to set up for your stay. We were a bit dubious about the just park wherever you like approach but it was great, we had a good amount of space. The toilet facilities are nice and really clean. The little shop is great, we enjoyed renting a fire pit. The food vans are really nice, and there’s some amazing walks nearby.

不喜欢 Large groups are allowed on site, it’s usually something we try and avoid as we ended up near a large group of men who got quite drunk and played loud music from the early afternoon to well past the quiet time but there were quite a few large groups.

喜欢 The campsite was huge so you could choose to be far away as we were a group of friends and the staff were lovely. The toilet and shower facility’s were also very good we never had to queue up and the showers were nice and warm.

喜欢 The onsite food trailers with pizza and gyros were amazing! Toilets and showers were very clean and the shop has everything you need or may have forgotten to pack yourself. The campsite is huge, we didn’t realise how far back it went until we had already pitched up nearer the front!

喜欢 EHU pitch was lovely and big, showers and loos were the best I’ve ever experienced at a camp site! The staff were wonderfully friendly. You can roam the whole farm, meet the cows and all the farm cats! Very good vibes! Fab food from the vans in the evening, too!

不喜欢 I had poor phone signal on TalkMobile (Vodafone) but my friends on EE were fine.
