Just to clarify for other potential guests reading this review:

You were booked onto a pitch designated as a back packer pitch. This pitch has no space for a car and only room for a small back packer tent, and that is the reason the price was reduced compared to other larger pitches.
You arrived in a car with a large tent and when asked politely by the wardens to move to a larger pitch (and pay the appropriate amount) you were unhappy and aggressive. Our wardens work exceptionally hard to ensure our site is clean and welcoming for all our guests and we will not tolerate that sort of behaviour from our guests.

Tyckte om Really peaceful and well managed campsite. Clean & well managed facilities with great access to local Cornish towns/villages.
We stayed on A4 electric Avenger pitch, unfortunately our hookup cable was too short to reach our tent, but Simon, campsite warden was happy to lend us a longer one for our 5 night stay.
Men’s toilets consisted of 3x toilets, showers & sinks, and for a bank holiday weekend I was surprised at how busy the site was and never any queues for facilities.
I believe there was other facilities on the other field, but never went over there.
Kettle, microwave, roster free to use in the laundry room as well as a large fridge & freezer.

WiFi in Cornwall is very iffy at the best of times so sorry if it dropped out during your stay. It is often nice to get away from all tech so maybe this was a good thing? Glad you found the site to be clean with good facilities.

Tyckte inte om Totally overpriced in my opinion. No shop and old and very basic loos and toilets of which weren’t particularly clean. When I booked online there were no non electric pitches left therefore I had to pay for electric that I didn’t need. There seemed to be non electric space though.

We are sorry that our site didn't meet your expectation. We never advertise as having a shop and we do have many excellent catering vans visit throughout the week. We are sorry if the pitch you wanted was unavailable. August is obviously the busiest time of the year. We are pleased to see that the staff were friendly and so were the other campers ... great news.

Tyckte inte om Electric hook up was a long way from our pitch, you may need to bring an extra long cable. (We had to borrow one)
