Now how’s this for a bit of luxury? At Wold Meadow, on the outskirts of the pretty East Yorkshire village of Wold Newton, you’ll be staying in a luxury glamping unit with its own private wood-fired hot tub, ready for you to leap into whenever you fancy it… It’s just the place for a bit of sunset watching and/or stargazing – and the experience is further boosted by having bathrobes and prosecco provided (along with the first bag of logs). Those little touches aren’t the only ones, however – lots of things have been thought of here, including a log burner (again with the first bag of logs and kindling), an electric cool box and a kingsize bed made up with cosy colourful bedding. Lots of practicalities have been sorted here too, including a designated toilet and shower for each unit a short walk away. On the food front, there’s a kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glasses for each unit and a shared kitchen with a microwave, an oven and a hob, plus all the essential pots and pans. Whatever you choose to rustle up there can be taken back to your private patio area, which has a bistro table, chairs, a parasol, a barbecue and a firepit with fabulous views out over the surrounding Wolds. If you’d like a closer look at the Yorkshire Wolds, pick up the Wolds Way about three miles away for a walk or bike ride through lovely countryside and cute tiny villages. Meanwhile, if that’s a bit too far to roam, a short walk takes you down to the village to feed the ducks at the pond or sip a pint in the dog-friendly pub. One final luxury to mention… this is an adults-only site so you’ll have to leave the kids elsewhere…

Tyckte om Beautiful yurt which was cosy thanks to the log burner. Very comfortable bed too. The hot tub was the highlight even in a storm!

Tyckte om A very peaceful weekend away.
Fab location- 20min drive to both Scarborough & Bridlington.

Great facilities- all you need to bring is yourselves ( & your suitcase of course!)

Lots of lovely little touches- robes for the hot tub, blankets, chilled Prosecco & some delicious cakes.

We will deffo be returning 🫶🏻

Tyckte om Beautiful yurt in an amazing setting. Jayne and Graham have thought of every little detail, very well equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Very private and peaceful. Short drive to some lovely villages and also the coast. 5 minute walk to the village with a nice pub. Very kind and friendly hosts who provided a lovely welcome pack of prosecco, homemade cakes and tea/ coffee etc. The woodfired hot tub was perfect for day and evening and the log burner in the yurt was really cosy! We loved everything about our stay. The best glamping we have ever done. Excellent value for money. We can’t wait to return!

Tyckte om The people that run this site are super friendly and helpful. The little extra touches really make it special- fairy lights, gowns, hot water bottles, little treats in the cooler box etc etc they really have thought of everything. Own private lockable amenaties , wood for sale on site, plug in cooler box to keep things cold, hot tub, lots of blankets , super clean. Very cute. Nice small quiet site with beautiful views. Hoping to book again and maybe stay longer. Almost forgot the best bit, dog friendly and they didnt even mind my 1 year old jumping up at them when he decided to ignore me as usual lol

Tyckte inte om The co alarm was missing from our yurt , however when I asked for one they brought me one immediately and apologised so not complaining at all, just think some guests may not be aware to check for one themselves and its super important in such a small space with a log burner

Tyckte om Had a great 2 night stay at Wold Meadow. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. The Yurt (Foxes Lair) was great and the hot tub and added bonus. 5 min walk to the village pub and 20 min drive to Filey, Bridlington or Bempton Cliffs. Looking forward to our next visit.
