Local area great for walks and pubs, plenty to see further a field.

Tyckte om This site has great views from its hilltop location. It is a relatively small site but the facilities you need are there - toilets, showers, washing up area. They are good and kept very clean. There is hot water for washing up.
If you are there at the right time of year there are skylarks - which I hadn't seen or heard for years. I was there in mid-April and was able sit in my tent in morning, listening to Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending on my phone while hearing the skylarks outside. Not for everyone, I guess, but for me, it was kind of magical.

Tom even spared the time to talk of the history of the family and reason of the campsite. Sounds like a genuine family man! Keep up the good work
