Twin Oaks Caravan and Camping: View over the pitches

General

  • Well-kept quiet site surrounded by the Worcestershire countryside
  • A five-minute drive from a farm park; 20 minutes for steam train trips
  • Public footpaths, pub and restaurants nearby; 10 miles from the M5

At Twin Oaks Caravan and Camping, you’ll be set to spread your wings into the Worcestershire countryside. With a 20-acre site as your nest, the scenery is strong here, powered by sweet sunets and splendid views over the river Severn, Shrawley Woods, Red Marley Hill and Abberley Clock Tower.

This may be a rural spot but that doesn’t mean it’s too far away from the buzz of the local attractions. 10 miles from the nearest M5 junction, you’ll be able to branch off to Worcester or Kidderminster 20 minutes' drive away – and if you’re just planning on a quick stop over as part of a longer journey, this is a convenient place to do so.

Those of you who don’t feel quite right without your pet by your side will be happy to find this site welcomes pets as well as families. It’s a quiet and peaceful set-up, so you can get in quality downtime, whether on site or following the way of the river Severn or countryside public footpaths close by.

How about those tasty food spots? Well, there are a few good picks around, including a Thai and Indian restaurant with takeaway and delivery 35 minutes’ walk away or a timber-framed pub 10 minutes’ drive away.

The facilities on site are well-kept, clean and tidy – there’s a toilet block with one toilet and a sink and an Elsan point for chemical waste disposal (green chemicals only).

Level well drained pitches. Service water and waste on pitch was a bonus not normally seen on such a small site. Very clean toilet.

EVERYTHING!! From the booking process to the last day of our stay. The pitches was a great size with the added bonus of water hook up and waste away on the pitch . The site was very well looked after , grass cut to the right level and the toilet area spotless. The owner was very accommodating with even asking prior of our likes of what we want for our stay I.e walks, or surrounding things to do . So peaceful and lovely views with great walks on the door step. We are looking forward to our next stay but will be staying longer this time .

We would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family and anyone else who is considering looking for a well-run caravan and camping park. We must also add that the personal touch from the manager visiting us on arrival was very welcome. Thank you.

Stopped here as a quick one night on the way back up north from our holiday in Dorset. Loved the peace and quiet of this site. The views were beautiful and the sunset was the best of our whole holiday!
The pitches were nice and flat and the large field was perfect for our little girl and dog to play.
The toilet was nice and clean and Tom the owner was lovely.
If you like big fancy campsites then this isn't for you. But if you want a simple, basic place to stay that is remote and peaceful, like us you will love it.
    Would definitely stay here again.

Arrived later than we wanted due to the usual Bank Holiday traffic and we were directed by Tom, the site owner, to our pitch. On our fully-serviced pitch the water was further away than expected, about 8m, and we needed to get some more hose-pipe the following morning.

The site was clean, well looked after and nice and quiet with a 10.00pm noise limit, which suited us and the grand-kids. The hedgrows had elderberry, blackberries and damsons, if I had realised |I would have brought my jam making kit!

Lots of manicured grass to run around on, which the little-ones did most of the time we were at the site.

All in all an enjoyable stay, with the Little Owl Farm Park a couple of miles away, perfect for the little ones. We also spent a day on the Severn Valley steam railway, just 35mins away.

    Close to the M5.

    Disliked:

Facilities were very clean, though an investment in a shower-block would be a welcome addition.

From the manager...

Hello! Thank you for the kind words and lovely review of Twin Oaks! we are so glad you all had a wonderful stay with us.

Sorry about the hose pipe situation..I do have extra hose on site that can be borrowed if you'd have let me know :-)

Showers and a washing up area will be installed as soon as possible...

We really look forward to seeing you all again here at Twin Oaks...

Views were fantastic, brilliant sunset. A very peaceful site, which was out in the countryside but still only a few miles from a main road. No wi fi was needed to be provided by the site as 4g reception was excellent. A new site which is being developed, but even so water and electricity at 16 amps on the hard standing, plumbed for grey water, and also chemical toilet disposal. A long extension for power might be needed. The owners are very attentive and personable. Close to major towns for shopping before you get to site. We will be going back.

    Disliked:

N/a. There are currently no showers or washing up point, but they are due shortly. This did not detract from the appeal of the site.
