Tyckte om Very good and clean facility.
Shower and hair dryer are free.
Nice open field for nice view.
We were there on the 12/Aug. and watched Solar eclipse and meteor shower.
Very good experience.
Gentleman at the site was nice too.

Could not connect to WiFi but it was not important.

Från föreståndaren: Every thing, including Wifi is free and even to free charging points in the pod.

Unfortunately, we are not in charge of the Celestial heavens and it is mid summer but everyone else enjoyed the partial eclipse and saw the shooting stars in the very dark sky at 10pm onwards.
There are no hedges or markers for the pitches.

We allocate according to size of Tents/ camping cars and keep tents on 2 sides to avoid vehicles moving around the field so children can play freely.
We did our best on what turned out to be a very busy Wednesday and we are pleased that everyone else fully enjoyed the experience with us.

Tyckte om Loved the views and the remote location. Facilities are great, especially liked/ amused by the traffic lights on toilet and shower doors to indicate busy or not. The eco approach to energy, waste etc is excellent. Linda and Malcolm were very amiable hosts with some great touring stories of their own.

Tyckte inte om Bit windy as it's on the top of a hill! Some areas of the field are sloping but our pitches were great with small chocks. No complaints though

We plan our site locations with tents or motorhomes / campervans in mind and space you out around the field so your pitches are flat (sometimes with chocks)
Malcolm is an engineer so enjoys gadgets and "traffic lights"

Tyckte om We absolutely loved this site, it’s a delightful site with lovely hosts and the most amazing sunsets! My wife and I and our 11 year old son stayed here for one night on a short tour of England and honestly I wish we had just stayed here for longer. Linda and Malcom were so friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely chat and shared roof tent stories while watching the sun set over the hills. The toilets and showers are spotless and well appointed, the traffic light system, visible from anywhere on the site to tell you when the showers are available is a great idea. A great little fridge and freezer for our drinks and ice packs and lots of nice little touches make this a must visit site.

Från föreståndaren: Sorry if you had wifi problems but this is the country and we actually like our guests to relax away from the world (and it's the best we can get and share it for free)

Tyckte om We enjoyed our stay here, I found myself frequently staring at the landscape, its a beautiful location and very scenic. We stayed here in the middle of the week and it was relatively quiet. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Linda kindly let our girls see the hens and they came away with freshly laid eggs. There are clean facilities available and the site is quiet. We met some lovely other campers there too.

Från föreståndaren: I know you gave a 9/10 overall but we are disappointed with value for money (free showers, wifi, lots of extras including fridge freezer, and location, 8/10 , when you refer to a beautiful site etc. Also WIFI 4 which is free and works so well all over our site. We really don't understand your review and were always here to help with any thing you needed.
