Tyckte om Really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout. The pitches were very well maintained, clean, and tidy, and looked fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here!

Tyckte om Fantastic find which we booked last minute as we needed some work on our van carried out locally.

The site has a great layout, with water nearby, electric hookup and a waste cleaning point - even our own little picnic table. The site is secure and just a few feet away is a wonderful little pub - lots of atmosphere and friendly locals.

We only drove through the village but it looked beautiful and the hills surrounding suggest there is some great walking.

The owner was very friendly - even delivering my wife’s sunglasses after she left them in the pub - thank you for that!

I did see a review saying WiFi was an issue. We had no issues at all and were able to stream Netflix over EE.

I’d like to come back here and get to know the area better. It’s a gem of a site and I have no hesitation in recommending.

Tyckte om Lovely site owners very friendly and helpful. The site is clean and very picturesque, big hard standing pitches. Included a picnic bench and brolly, also grey water drain.
The pub is great friendly staff and other users.
Will definitely be back at some time

Your dislikes refer to water hook up and weak internet?
Prior to making your booking there is a comprehensive list of what we have to offer. Individual water hook up and internet are not listed!!!
May I suggest that next time you make a booking for a site such as ours i think you should check the facilities available a bit more diligently!
The comment with regards to dog walking is simply unbelievable!!!
The field next to the site (which we own) leads to field after field where it is possible to walk a dog literally for miles in uninterrupted beautiful countryside for miles!!
Secondly across the road from the pub is a pathway which again gives access to uninterrupted countryside offering open fields suitable for walking dogs.
Might I suggest that it would have been a good idea to ask for information on suitable routes for dog walks rather than being a typical keyboard warrior making ridiculous comments on a review.
Also for future reference if you approach a gate that is closed and you wish to go through - it would be common decency to close it and not leave it open as in our case our dogs escaped.
You left the gate open every time you used it - thanks for that!!!!

Tyckte om This was an absolutely lovely site.
Extremely peaceful and pitches were roomy and very level and well kept.
Great communication prior to our arrival and we were informed which pitch we had been allocated.
The pub is lovely at the front of the campsite and access to the campsite at the side of the pub is easy.
Situated in a great area to visit local attractions.
We would definitely stay again.

Tyckte om So clean and tidy. Good communication and lovely facilities and very large pitch with lawn and table as well. The village is so lovely too. We will be back I hope.
